I`m a big Lowry fan Urmston, so would love that jigsaw.
Hope you`re feeling better soon Blossoming.
Yia, I`m not a boot person myself, but like to admire them on others. Yours are rather pretty.
Visiting was reinstated on my daughter`s hospital floor today, so I went up this afternoon. They say she`s cleared for discharge, but she can`t come home until the care package is set up. She was taken off the care company`s books 72 hours after going into hospital, apparently that`s the norm.
My eldest son, the one with lung cancer, was told yesterday, after a scan, that he had fluid in the other lung that needed to be drained. He went to A and E last night, was still sitting in a chair waiting at 2pm today. Was finally seen after 17 hours waiting, hopefully he`s back home now catching up on last night`s lost sleep.
I`m starting to get typers cramp, wish I was as prolific as Grandmafrench!

Soop`s cosy kitchen for sincere and pleasant peoples
(1001 Posts)Well, this kitchen is lovely, I love the cool decor and colourful rugs.
I think I should have typed www.westwoodlakes.co.uk as the other doesn`t seem to work.
corner glad you enjoyed Harry Potter. My DIL was very enthusiastic about the whole thing. ?
Blossoming you sound quite poorly. Hope you feel better soon.
Yiayia I think I need to go to Specsavers. I thought the photo of your boots was a black kitten ?⬛ ?
Grandmafrench I am completely exhausted just reading your post. What a day. I think a double G& T is called for.
Urms glad your FIL is feeling up to tackling the jigsaw
Hi Aldom and welcome. Lots going on in the kitchen so sit yourself down with a cuppa and join in.
Hellogirl what a time you’re having. I hope the care package is sorted out soon. Your poor son must be worn out sitting in A&E all night. 17 hours is crazy. Hope he gets some rest tonight.
Hello to all I’ve missed. ? TOYA
Doodle you are not alone! I had my eyes tested yesterday but not at Specsavers. I still have not recovered from the bill- it was around double my expectations.

My son just rang, after a few hours sleep. After waiting all that time, the doctor decided it didn`t need draining just yet, and sent him home!
Me again. Does anyone watch Home and Away? I want to know if it`s possible to get one of those long, bendy straws that the model in the Gala bingo sponsorship ad is sipping through. My daughter can`t hold a cup or glass anymore, one of those would be ideal for her, save me standing there holding the cup all the time.
Love it Maw!
Hellogirl have pm’d you.
Hellogirl I hope Jaxjacky has been able to answer your query but Occupational Health should be there to sort out all your needs for your D.
That is their job.
Make your needs and voice the loudest until they do it.
So many posts over the last day.As others have said I haven’t a chance of catching up.
I hope the care package is sorted soon Hellogirl and your daughter can come home and how awful for your son?hope he is rested and feeling better now.
Grandmafrench, Henry had a goldfish as one of his presents and has named him Sharky!
Blossoming, hope you are feeling better and Ann hope you manage to steer clear of any germs??
Urms, glad your father in law is feeling better and up to tackling his jigsaw.
We are both still coughing?my voice is still very husky?hoping for a quiet day today before childcare tomorrow.
Have a good day and TOYA
? ???????? to Aldom and all you lovely kitcheners. Making a lemon Meringue tart today. Will do a few little extra tarts for you all. Fantastic to see how many visit the kitchen so I hope there's enough to go round.
Blossoming Hope you are feeling better today and that test is negative.
Yia What amazing boots! What a find! Love them. That completes your perfect outfit now.
Grandmafrench How is that house wobbly, illegal structure the police were called out to?
Urm What a perfect delightful gift for your stepfather. Hellogirl I love Lowry too. Really enjoyed the Mrs Lowry and Son film. 17 hours sat in a chair is shameful. I hope your son did catch up with lots of sleep.
I love long cardigans SueDonim. Hint Hint ? Have I missed it, but I wondered if you know whether it's to be a girl or boy?
Sounds like a full, busy day perhaps tomorrow. Hope you both feel 100% by then Susan. Take care.
MrM had a very successful Doppler Test this morning. I didn't mention the probe Nannytopsy but the nurse left the dressing on the ulcer and just scanned around it. I was quite relieved for him. They found his circulation was good so a compression bandage or stocking will be fitted. He has to go back to his own doctor's surgery for this so he's hoping that will be tomorrow when the dressing is changed.
He had some sad news last night as his friend's wife passed away the night before. It has all happened so quickly and I'm thankful MrM managed to write that letter.
Text from DD last night and she's spoken to CMS and has to submit her application for child maintenance again and the ex has to prove he looks after GD as much as he says he does?. Ha!. Appeals are dealt with quickly thank goodness.
Little planned for me but it's dry today and for the next few days, so the lawn mower will get an airing. No Phil all this week as the build site is a little waterlogged.
??? for those not mentioned.
Oh! pumpkin perfection Grandmabatty.
Dearest you lovely lot...I am in the so-called studio. I am bithee as a bee. Later this afternoon, I shall return. Please relax (all of you) as I am still endeavoring to play catch up.
Hello lovely Kitcheners. I am sleeping lots, PCR test done and now awaiting results. I don’t think it’s Covid but tests must be done. TOYA
Welcome to Aldom you are in the best place.

Take care dear kitcheners enjoy the sun if you have it.
Hello lovely lot.I have a petite problemette with a fern which I'm hoping someone can solve.I bought it a few months ago for my bathroom. Much to my surprise it is still alive ❤️ You will gather I am not good with plants.
It has grown upwards and outwards anis now too big for the shelf. Am assuming I can't just give it a quick haircut !
What can I do please ?
Gosh, I can’t keep up with you lovely busy people, so I’m hoping you don’t mind if I just read and say hello each day.
Hope to hear some lovely baby news any minute.
Oh, nearly forgot, those boots are beautiful Yiayia
Thank you Jaxjacky, I have replied.
Early for me today, have to drop Covid testers to son, just so he has some, he’s perfectly capable of ordering some, but it’s a good excuse to see him ?.
Busy day on the drive phones and a hospital drive this morning.
Big welcome Aldom to the best place.
Flipping dreadful for your son Hellogirl here’s hoping your daughters care package is sorted speedy quick, I won’t hold my breath.
Sleeping is good Blossoming healing time, here’s to a negative PCR result.
Excellent result on the Doppler muse, antibiotics and cleaning doing a good, but annoying, job.
??? Laura ?
Can’t hear any baby sounds yet Sue….
No point asking me Grandmajean I’m useless with house plants, however, I have an orchid that’s still with us after quite some weeks, only because my friend said don’t water it. I can do that.
You sound engrossed soop a master at work..awaiting with bated breath the latest delight. And Grandmafrench I’d love to watch the gendarmes with the dodgy house, I’ll bet you could sell tickets for a front row seat.
You could make a few £££ on the phone Susan56 immoral earnings!
I’ll love you and leave you for now, enjoy your evenings x.
Jaxjacky I hope nobody ever gives me an orchid ! I'd be so embarrassed if they expected to see it a few weeks later.
Well, the afternoon painting session started on a promising note. However, I know in my heart of hearts that I am not going to make pleasing progress. Hence, I shall resketch the portrait and...start again tomorrow.
I understand that an awful lot has been happening in our kitchen. I also know that those in need of support will be assured of all that they deserve. You lot are the best
I must away to prepare the evening meal. You are in my thoughts. That's a given.

Maw Thank you for making me grin.
Jax?
Soop, I think I need Specsavers, I read that as the afternoon "panting session"!
Hello dear kitcheners - I wondered what was happening there with "panting" hello!! Love the kitties maw - quite made me giggle!! I only popped in to say hello and share my sausage casserole and "what a larf"!! Feel better soon Blossoming. Enjoy the rest of Wednesday
