If you know what kind of foods they like you could make them a hamper. It’s much better value than buying one.
I’ve often found a basket in a charity shop, washed it thoroughly and turned it into a fresh fruit hamper for someone poorly.
You can find a tutorial on the internet for wrapping it in cellophane and adding a bow.

Hamper sounds like a good idea, I make my very helpful neighbour an apple pie and mince pies once in a while, he lives alone so appreciates home baking.

A token for the Garden Centre?

There are various places online that will deliver afternoon tea. I ordered a Devon cream tea which travelled all the way from there to Essex and arrived in perfect condition. I was sent a different one for Mothering Sunday.

Maybe something like that if your neighbours don't go out much and if you don't want to put a hamper together.

I think i will buy them an M&S one as i know they do shop in the foodhall sometimes and he does love fresh cream cakes. She is dieting at the moment but i am sure some lovely fruit or fresh veggies would appeal.
