Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark , but its dry this morning in Brackley .
Today plans are apart from a small shop , to stay in and watch cycling from midday , mind you the season all though delayed earlier is nearly over .
What I have also noticed is with some trees considering the time of year are still green and showing little in the way of shedding leaves as normal , maybe early or overnight frosts may help .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire. It’s a beautiful cold, bright start to the day.

I’m meeting a friend in the valley of the garden centres. We’ll have lunch and a wander round a couple of them while we catch up with each other’s news.

Maw thanks

Have fun Essex grans. brewcupcake

You have not been far from my thoughts since you told us about Philip gMattie. I will indeed hold you and your family in my heart over the next few days.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day.

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright, windy corner of Somerset.

Grocery delivery and a haircut are today’s excitement. Hope for a short walk and some much needed fresh air later in the day. Physio outcome good yesterday, she was able to put my mind at rest over a knee oddity.

Good luck at the dentist grammaretto. Loving thoughts to you and your family grandMattie. A hug and flowers for harrigran , maw and all managing difficult days.

Take care everyone. Hope Wednesday is kind to us all.

Good morning from a fairly bright N. Bucks.
Some tidying and pottering this morning for me. Craft club this afternoon and back to the same venue for WI this evening.
I am on the door this evening so must remember to get there early.
? for GrandMattie and all who need cheering. Wishing all a smile in their day.

Stilllearning Wed 06-Oct-21 08:04:38

Good morning from a lovely bright S Lanarkshire. I believe it’s 3 degrees outside.

Exercise class and coffee afterwards today, I really enjoy our weekly catch ups. I never liked the long dark evenings and as I get older I like them even less. I wonder if it’s because I am less busy during the day? Maybe the solution is in my own hands!

Blood tests yesterday went very smoothly. It used to be a nightmare but a tip from a nurse about taking a good drink of water about an hour before has proved very successful and I no longer end up black and blue!

Then a really enjoyable lunch with three former colleagues. It’s interesting to see how varied our responses to our new world are.

Thoughts and prayers with you and your family today and especially tomorrow grandMattie and wishing everyone a good day ???

Good morning from sunny south east London.

Taking dog out today while DD and SiL work.

Thinking of you and your family Mattie and sending you strength for the days ahead.

Gingster Wed 06-Oct-21 07:59:50

Harrigran - how beautiful for your DH to hear your DD playing all his favourites. Autumn leaves drifting by your window. ❤️???

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 06-Oct-21 07:59:19

Just read your post Maw so sad.

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 06-Oct-21 07:58:41

Another sunny but nippy morning in Oxfordshire, not much to do today, start looking out clothes for weekend away maybe, at least it will be easy to pack , jumpers, trousers, warm clothes, wet weather stuff can stay in the car just in case.
Mr Oops is busy, shed turned cabin is getting the ceilings painted, all white walls and ceilings so he shouldn’t get confused as pittcity DH did. Plaster isn’t dry yet on the walls, though, he’s chosen the flooring, now just having a thought about electric sockets, there is electric and wifi down at the bottom of the garden so one less thing to do.
I was looking at teddy coats Urms after seeing Lady somebody or other wearing a burnt orange one on TV a while ago, it looked nice on her, good luck with yours.
You are in our thoughts granmattie today and in the future, hope harrigran had a good night.
Hugs to those who aren’t so chipper today.

Good morning all from gloriously sunny N Bucks
Thinking especially of Grandmattie today and over the coming days.
48 years ago I gave birth to our first baby, a boy . Paw told me years after, how he had walked home to Richmond from the hospital, late at night, feeling as if he was walking on air.
That short little life - only 24 days- brought us tears of joy and sorrow in equal measure . Born with major heart defects (perfectly operable today) , if he had lived we probably would not have had our 3 lovely girls and (now) our 6 wonderful grandchildren but it still brings home to me the miracle and fragility of life . ?

Gingster Wed 06-Oct-21 07:56:06

Good morning all . The forecast isn’t too bad for today but a bit breezy.

Thinking if you GrandMattie. ?

Urms - I’m after one of those Teddy Bear coats. They look so cosy.

Looking forward to our coffee S and L. I think we might be blown along the seafront. ??.

Take care everyone and have a ‘good’ day. ????

harrigran Wed 06-Oct-21 07:54:44

Good morning from a dry NE after a wet and windy night.
Very disturbed night, eating pain au raisin and drinking tea at 2.30am as I misread the hands on the clock.
DD and SIL came yesterday and she played the piano for DH, the music room is directly below the bedroom. She has a large repertoire of classical pieces and played Queen numbers too. I asked her to play some Nat King Cole and I went to sit with DH, ended up in tears when she played "our song" Autumn leaves.
DD returning this afternoon to help do some admin work and then let me have a rest this afternoon.
Thinking of you today grandMattie flowers

grandmattie you will be in my thoughts?; Harri too.?
Have a good day one and all.
