GG, that is more positive news about your DIL, not so good about no visitors, that's hard to deal with, but best to keep your DIL as safe as possible.
Thanks goodness for mobile phones. Mine was a lifeline, when no visitors were allowed in Coronary Care.
I thought of your DIL when I woke up and will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Grannygravy Us lot are looking forward to hearing better news regarding your daughter in law. It has been a very stressful time for all those who love her, including you.

Marydoll I thought that I heard a wailing banshee earlier today. A very kind thought, just the same.

I feel duty bound to give the homestead a thorough cleaning. So far, it has taken almost the entire day. I feel knackered. Have talked myself out of the final few jobs. They will still be waiting tomorrow.

Surgery have just this minute phoned. The GP has my blood results and will call me tomorrow to discuss something or other.

I need to put my feet up and enjoy a . Tomorrow, I shall return to the kitchen. The following day, at the crack of dawn, I shall be en route to Glasgow. Sorry, Marydoll, I wish that you could have visited me. You would have cheered me greatly. Sadly, no visitors allowed. A buggeration of some magnitude.

Added to the fact that I am wearing two odd slippers and have discovered the missing pockets in my dress. It was on back to front!

I’m just back inside after clearing another mountain of leaves from the garden but looking up at the trees there’s still quite a few more to come down. It’s dark already here, the heating is on and I’m settled on the sofa for a while ..
I had a good time dancing around this morning at my Fitsteps dance class and then chatting to the other ladies. It’s a good social activity which I enjoy, the dancing is just an excuse really although I do like the upbeat music. Then a walk by the river into town to pick up a few bits and bobs for DD2 (as always)

4 years ago this night we were all gathered at his bedside as Paw was slipping away . I’ll be glad when tonight is over - it was a long dark night of the soul, but I realise that things could not have gone on as they were.
Rosie and I had a wee walk to “talk” to him this afternoon and I do feel he is at peace now.

Have had messages from DiL she is very sore, battered and bruised struggling to stay awake. The results will hopefully be through in ten days ?

I shall be in bed extremely early, with any luck I shall sleep.

A funny old day, calmer after my massive nosebleed yesterday that required a visit to A&E.
Sad news from a very good friend who’s brother has oesophageal cancer, good news that my son’s partner has got a job.

Jacjacky I am slowly realising that the greater our age the more we suffer. Growing old is not for wimps, our peers become ill, and if like me I take on other’s problems and over worry
