Help! The old kitchen door is locked. I'm wandering hither and thither like a lost soul. Has a new kitchen been opened please? I hate being this side of the door.

Thank you for your virtual support ?
DiL was transferred to HDU which is a positive as we were expecting ICU. Now we have to wait for her to contact us/AS as no visitors are allowed due to Covid .

GG, I am so sorry to hear about your daughter in law. I'm afraid I have missed what is going on but I am thinking of you, her and all your family.

Thank you soop for your kind words. We feel so fortunate to have both our sons and their families living near. When they were children we had no family nearby so our parents saw very little of the GCs. We were able to help my parents when they reached their 80's as they moved to be near us - actually in our street! When my DM died my DD lived on for 10 years so he was part of our lives for a good few years.
Fingers crossed that you and Mr soop get your medical problems resolved swiftly. Although the NHS is wonderful it seems everything is taking a long time at the moment. I suspect the Kitchen is a politics free zone so I will say no more!

Winter panties to be precise! grin

Oh, I say! blush

My secret is out. I’ve just got my pink directoire bloomers out of summer storage. Dammit if the moths haven’t been at them, though, and they must be the one thing Amazon doesn’t sell! grin

‘Evening All’.

A productive day. Himself had an appointment for his booster jab at a venue within walking distance. Once there he rang me to let me know it was a ‘walk in’ centre as well. I got myself down there PDQ so now that’s both of us jabbed. So pleased - especially when I watch the news and see some of the difficulties some people face trying to get theirs.
