Iām sure thereāll be someone who figured this out ages ago, and has been doing it for years...in which case, this is not for you.
I discovered a few months ago, just how much product you can save, by cutting off the heads of cream bottles. I had thought about it before, but wasnāt sure if it would be worth it. Especially at the risk of cutting off one of my fingers!
However...my husband has a tool...( he generally does š), which pierces the bottle top easily, and cuts it off. I now do it very well with an ordinary kitchen knife.
With my body cream bottle...I do only get enough for one more application, but the face cream....itās loads. About 10 more applications! This is after you can no longer squeeze or bash it out from the bottle neck.
I use āSimpleā, face cream, and āAveenoā body cream, but have cut open other makes.
Just thought Iād pass this on as a tip, but you do need to be careful when cutting it. I wear rubber gloves.
