I don't but I volunteer my time picking rubbish up or knitting.

Yes, to Plan for my sponsored child, to Ty Hafan children’s hospice, to Cancer Research, and to Welsh Air Ambulance. I don’t give to street collections, I prefer to give to the charities I care about.

I have a monthly direct debit for the Children's Air Ambulance, so essential.

Yes, we give to animal charities and since we got married have sponsored a child through World Vision so have done so for 41+ years.

My sisters cat charity and the Salvation Army. I used to donate to others but salaries paid to staff stopped that.

I give to Mary's Meals they feed 2 million children a day and I think the figure is 93% of all donations goes direct to those in need.Apart from that I sponsor two girls and theres a DD to the local childrens hospice and the Glasgow soup kitchen. We used to help out with a few things but not since covid.Maybe next year we'll get back to actively helping.I cancelled my DD 's to the big charities after the stories came out about workers behaviour when they visited sites abroad and the massive salaries and perks of the paid staff at high levels .

Just a question does anyone give to charity? I used to give religiously until I realised just how much the charity actually receives out of your donations maybe 1 % after mangers etc have taken their cut very disillusioned
