Good morning all from Bridport, not a clue about the weather I’m still in bed and there are excellent blackout curtains.
How annoying Mick, hopefully the engineer will fix it. Beechnut a fall is horrid, it is the shock as much as anything. Have you reported your dizziness Kitty on the yellow card system? we’re still being urged to, may it disappear soon. Urms my thoughts on any twinges too!
Out and about today, we had a really lovely dinner last night in Uploders, lovely place names in Dorset. Beaches today, West Bay included.
Enjoy your day all. ???

Good morning all from bright Harrogate with a dry day promised!!
Yesterday went to M&S in town bought the sheet that the website wouldn’t let me do, they’ve ordered the other sheet.
Took less time than I wasted on the website.
Today I have Sainsburies delivery and Hopefully will have the ingredients to make one Christmas cake ? I usually make a big one for DD1 who usually hosts Xmas ? dinner and a smaller one because I love them! Tonight is my zoom with my sisters.
Beechnut I do sympathise I had a spell when I kept falling because of the shoes I had to wear. It was so embarrassing!!
Have the best day you can folks.
Sounds like a lovely son Harrigran, don’t let him beat you at scrabble though
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning from a light grey Colchester. Not as chilly as yesterday.
Marydoll my DH needs to learn from yours. Yesterday he went to put his plate in the dishwasher. His words were, "It's full so I'll leave my plate here for you to fit it in!"
Today I am getting him up the ladder to finally paint the lounge ceiling. I will try to keep out of his way by going shopping.
Jay's quiz with family online tonight.
Love to all xx
Good morning from a bright ,dry but chilly Co Armagh .
Nothing planned for today , but I might heat the griddle and make soda falls , why ! ? Because I accidentally put a big spoon of plain yogurt in my cup instead of on my muesli! I had already put in milk , but not the tea ! My Scottish genes won’t let me throw out the milk !
harrigran I never let my lot beat me at Scrabble ! But it is lovely that they are all nurturing you just now xxx. I
Good morning everyone the blackout curtains in this house are doing nothing for the sunshine which is blazing through. It’s pretty frosty outside so himself says while bringing the bins around
Dare he put his hands on me else there would be a murder
We’re both off out this morning I must wear sensible clothing
Have a good day everyone enjoy the moment
Good morning everyone from a grey and windy Northampton.
No plans to go out today as I am having to isolate, due to someone I was in contact with last Saturday at rugby testing positive for covid. I did a lateral flow yesterday as soon as I knew, which was negative, and am awaiting delivery today of a PCR test. I have contacted people I was with on Monday and Tuesday. The person I was with on Saturday has no symptoms and is feeling well; he only found out as he had to do a test before flying out to Portugal for a golfing holiday on Monday - obviously he has not gone!
So, should have been at ballet today, but will be catching up on my knitting and reading instead. Will also get the towels in the washing machine. Also expecting a Sainsbury's delivery late morning. And a delivery from John Lewis of earrings for my elder DGD's birthday next week.
Best wishes to all, especially those feeling anxious, poorly or worried. May the day treat us all kindly
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. We have the potential for a bright day in South Yorkshire today, which is good, because it is my 75th birthday. We are eating out tonight with the family at a lovely pub so something to look forward to. In the meantime a quiet day with much to reflect on.
Beechnut I hope you feel better very soon.?
Jax I didn’t get around to wishing you a Happy Anniversary yesterday so please accept belated good wishes.??
Have the best day you can folks.
Good morning - it's a bit cold grey and damp in N Bucks . I'm off to Compton Verney for the day for the Grinling Gibbons and John Nash exhibitions. Given the weather I dont think I'll be admiring the gardens though ?
Wishing you all a pleasant day.
Happy Birthday Greydusterenjoy your meal with family .???
Good morning from sunny Sefton. Today I have an appointment in Cheshire, my county of origin, which will be combined with a mooch in some shops, lunch out and a countryside ramble. There may be a stop at Ikea on the way home…
Thinking of those celebrating ?, recovering, troubled and in need of a hug. ???
Happy birthday greyd. Hope there will be cake ?? Love the sound of your family meal.
A very Happy Birthday Greyduster ??? enjoy your family meal tonight.
Good morning Mick and all from a sunny Lancashire coast.
Plumber here fixing a leaking radiator and DD leaving soon for the south. Her visits fly by so quickly.
Great recital with Malaysian pianist yesterday, powerful playing. We practically jumped out of our seats at one point,
The Yamaha has remained intact…
Had my booster and flu jab in town after that and have never felt the jab so hard before, usually it’s just a ‘prick’ as they say,
Sore arm today, don’t mind that, it’s a bad reaction I don’t want.
Happy birthday Greyduster hope you all have a good day.
Advert in our local free paper, graffiti by me. I can take the mickey as it’s my hometown ?
Marydoll, what fabulous news about Dollie! So happy for you.
And, yes, hang on to MrMary for a smidgen longer, probation or no prbation. Mine would be bleating that he doesn't know how to do it, or even worse, that "you do it better than me, darling!"
?very happy birthday Greyduster ?
We stayed in a Premier Inn at the Albert Dock a few years ago Hollysteers, I thought the whole area was fabulous. Walked up to the Walker Art Gallery and the museum, back down to the Tate Modern, spent time in the maritime museum and lots more, really enjoyed that wonderful city centre.
My hometown too hollysteers.I loved growing up in Liverpool and love going back to visit but glad I live where I do now,
Our eldest daughter loves Liverpool, it must be in her genes!
Prack has just reminded me that Liverpool has one of the most iconic waterfronts in the world, even replicated in Shanghai, so I’m sorry Hollysteers but I’m sticking up for Liverpool.
I was born there too, spent my teenage years in that great city. Feel nothing but pride.
Wonderful news about Dollie Marydoll. Just the ticket.
And you always think of such interesting trips out Maw. Enjoy your day it sounds fab.
?
Hollysteers, I meant to say how sad it is when our sons or daughters leave again, the visits do seem so fleeting.
Hope the leak is soon fixed.
So are you blues or reds?
Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle. I feel I must abandon inside duties today and get out for some exercise in the sun. I did get out in the garden and fork about in my border yesterday afternoon but it had greyed over a bit by then.
This morning I have already polished off the ironing so little left to do in the housework department but plenty of useful stuff still to do in getting the new house to my satisfaction.
I finally ticked Liverpool off my bucket list early in 2019 just as the pandemic was kicking off. It is a fantastic city, I too stayed in the Premier Inn on the dockside, a great area to be in. My only criticism ....they are spoiling the wonderful waterfront with these modern buildings.
Have the best possible day everyone.
Happy Birthday greyduster enjoy your day.
Good news on the school collection Marydoll if you are anything like me you forget any aches and pains when they are around. A perfect tonic.
Hollysteers if I had a view of any water I would be happy!
Wishing you a Happy Birthday Greyduster, enjoy your meal out tonight ??
