Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and the ground outside is wet at the moment .
Yesterday , things seem to happen to me in quick session , I payed my visit to the cemetery, no sooner had I got back thinking it was being done today , the person came and fitted the blinds in my kitchen window , and in the afternoon I had an email asking me to book an appointment for my booster jab , which in this case will be next week and will have a need to bus it to Bicester to get it done .
Anyway , today apart from 2 minutes silence at 11 this morning , I will get the bus to Bicester just after to do usual routine .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a dry Durham. Feeling a little rough this morning - I’ve had a cold, on and off from the end of August and can’t seem to shake it off completely. DD2 and I are taking DGS2 to a Christmas Market today. Later, she’s asked me to have a final look with her at her choice of her next Motability car, before she orders it. It needs to be able to take her wheelchair, a baby seat and baby stuff, as well as being suitable for her own needs.

Good morning from a dull N. Bucks.
House jobs this morning and sewing group this afternoon for me.
Kind thoughts to GG and Jaxjacky and all who are troubled. Hopefully there will be a smile in your day.

Good morning all from the Black country, rain overnight but the sun appears to be breaking through.
Late up today so will read through later.
We're off to the theatre this evening to see Blood Brothers so looking forward to it have missed our theatre trips.
Best wishes to anyone celebrating and virtual hugs where needed.
Enjoy your day and may you all find some ?.

Good morning from North Wales. It's dry and bright here.
I am having blood tests today and as luck would have it my back is playing up and painful. I am walking like someone at least 20 years older than me.
Thoughts with those who are having a hard time.

Good morning everyone from a damp and cloudy Northampton; just popped out with the food waste bin and there is a definite drizzle.

Had a day of doing not much yesterday apart from reading, and guess it will be much the same today once Sainsbury's have been with my delivery. Just put a load in the washing machine and the next one is lined up and waiting.

I really need to finish my book, then I can start on the next book club read; our next meeting is in two weeks, and don't like to have more than one book on the go at a time or I get confused with both!

Ooh, I forgot, Sainsbury's delivered a dress I had ordered yesterday, so looking forward to trying it on after my shower. If it's ok I shall wear it to DGD's birthday lunch on Sunday. Am also awaiting that arrival of another one, and have a Christmas jumper to pick up at some time.

Sorry to hear about your Fil Jax. A sad time.flowers

Hoping Thursday is kind to us.

Good morning Mick and all his followers. Suffolk started with a streaked blue and pink sky but now we have a monotone of grey.
Coffee morning today and I need to find a “drapers”. I wish! I need a short, metal jeans zip and the fabric for a peasant skirt. Hmm …
Sad news Jax - be gentle with yourselves. Sleep when you can GG.
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where we too have a misty start. Our 17y old Peugeot has gone in for its MOT (fingers crossed) and so we have a NOTHING day. Yippee! No childminding, not able to meet up with stepfather, just the two of us all day and night. Might go for a stroll later, grab a coffee, as it’s dry and mild. Then we have a voucher to use at our favourite Italian round the corner so we think it’s an ideal time to cash it in.

Really I ought to make a hair appointment soon. Cut and colour. Since Covid lockdowns I don’t seem as high maintenance as I used to be. I’ve not had a pedicure since early summer and haven’t had a manicure for even longer. Strangely I’m not fussed. Had to giggle at a comment from Himself yesterday. He walked into the bathroom as I was applying my mascara before I went to book club and he said “I didn’t realise you wear make up dear”. Still makes me laugh after 50 years together.

You must be shattered GG13. Anxiety and a busy mind will interfere with sleep. Poor you. Let’s hope the surgeon can give your family some good news very soon. The relief would be joyous for you all. It’s such a worrying time waiting for important results. Puts everything on hold an in perspective. Same for soop today really.

Jax what shocking news for your family. Beyond sad. ?

Good morning everyone where there’s been a cracking sun rise here on the east coast of Fife . It’s feeling cold out there, must think about getting up I’ve a busy morning going to the local community club. I’ve to collect a pair of curtains which I hope have been sewn to fit they were too long. I’m also taking my polo neck cashmere jumper to be sewn into a v neck it’s been far too tight for too long and needs sorted, fingers crossed the sewing lady will get this done for me. I’m living in hope this morning. wink

Virtual hugs flowers to those who feel sad or just need a hug, things can only get better as the song says smile

Good morning from the Sefton coast.
An hour ago we received delivery of a kitchen appliance, our gardener is due any minute, then the central heating engineer cometh to advise about the flue and a pitched roof. Yes, finally, we’re about to wave goodbye to that flat roofing!
I did notice that GrannySomerset didn’t post yesterday; I do hope she’s okay. I’d like to send words of comfort to GG13 and Jax, both understandably troubled at the moment. May each and every one of you find solace if needed, a smile and a flamingo today.

Good morning from a sunny NE.
DD and SIL are here and DD does not have to work as it is Armistice day and a public holiday in Brussels.
We are pushing on with paperwork but I am finding it all very difficult and the numbness I felt initially is wearing off leaving me feeling very vulnerable.
Will go for a walk today, it is a little easier as I have lost 8 kilos these last few weeks.
Kind thoughts of you all.

Urmstongran Thu 11-Nov-21 09:16:01

harri ?
We will all give you a virtual hug. It’s what we do. x

Good morning all,

It’s a lovely bright start to the day here in South Yorkshire and feels quite mild. Just getting ready for Pilates which is due to start soon.

Had a lovely day out with some friends yesterday, it involved a little retail therapy, followed by a delicious lunch. It really is nice to be able to get out and about a bit more. I’m still wearing my mask and hand sanitising regularly, though, as I think we really do still need to be careful.

Today is a catch-up day with housework after Pilates. I still have quite a mound of ironing to tackle and a spot of cleaning to do.

I keep thinking I should put away the dahlia tubers, but as it’s so mild, they are still blooming, along with other flowers such as fuchsia , clematis and poppies. The grass is still growing, too. The seasons are well and truly mixed up, aren’t they?

Well I hope those of you with plans today, enjoy them.
? for those of you with troubles and worries.

Good morning Mick and all from grey Carlisle....will I will I not be able to mow lawns later?
I've just caught up with necessary housework and now feet up time beckons. I shall probably put up the lampshades I bought yesterday after delivery of some lightbulbs. Does anyone else have trouble deciding on which to get these days...fittings, new watts, lumens...almost too complicated for my ageing brain.
I'm sorry to hear about your FiL, Jaxjacky.
Look after yourselves harrigran and GG13, tough times for you both.
The best possible day to all.

Urmstongran Thu 11-Nov-21 10:06:39

Lightbulbs and curtains. No good at either of ‘em.

Blossoming Thu 11-Nov-21 10:08:31

Good morning Mick and all from a cool and misty Lancashire. I’m feeling stiff and a little sore from sorting out the WiFi to the garden yesterday. These things always seem to involve getting down to floor level, which I’m not very good at. Though it’s even worse getting back up again grin
Have the best day possible, I think I will go for a walk and see if I can find any ??

hollysteers Thu 11-Nov-21 11:26:22

Good morning Mick and all from a bright Lancashire coast.
Very late last night but I have an ‘empty’ today, hooray.
Will organise my GD birthday present and tootle about the house.
I have a halogen heater as a back up in the bedroom (facing the Irish Ocean it’s chilly…) and heard clicking through the night. It wasn’t on but oscillating all by itself.
Was invited to go for a drink after the lunchtime concert with chap from music club, but had my plan of attack for the rest of the afternoon. Sorry later as it’s all steps back to normality.
(The spellcheck wants me to put normalcy, no I won’t!)
Will read through later.
