Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark outside and its raining here in brackley at the moment, I will do a local shop later ,and return to housework ,and possible trip to Bicester this morning.
Need to make a few changes to curtains in the flat over the coming days but at an easy pace.
Take Care,
Mick

Grandmadinosaur

I’m pleased about the test Urms hope she feels better soon .

Me too Grandmadinosaur as I’ve been cuddling her. Who wouldn’t comfort an unhappy poorly little girl? She sat on my lap, facing me, her little chicken legs outside of mine.

Good morning everyone,
I was up early to empty the kitchen bin ! Something in it was humming ! And I do empty it often , but it was too wet and windy yesterday to heave it out and over to the garage , nice and calm this morning
The bread maker did its job overnight so one thing going well

Good Morning all from wet and windy Harrogate
Li'l Miss sounds like she has that rotten cold that is doing the rounds, poor little thing, Urms I think that is what I am most frightened of getting now. I've had Covid and it was just 3 days of a cold, but this other cold seems much worse.
Happy Birthday Olddudders hope you have many more.
DD1 called round this morning, she & DH are taking the dog for a walk, it is her dog after all. Tonight I am looking after DGS - what mischief will he have in store for me?
Have the best day possible folks!

Happy birthday ? olddudders ? hope it’s a good one to enjoy with Ash.
That outfit sounds gorgeous BlueSapphire and yes I’d go get that handbag.
Hope you find that flamingo Blossoming, there’s plenty to go round.

Good morning Mick and all from rainy Carlisle. I knew I should have mowed the lawn yesterday but I was distracted by the unexpected arrival of my new watch which is an improvement on the old one. But what to do with the old one which needs a new battery?
Tesco are here so must go but not before wishing all of the poorly people an improving day.
And a happy birthday to olddudders!

Good morning from Sefton where thankfully it has stopped raining as some of the roads are flooded.
An early swim has left the remainder of my day free for laundry (oh, joy).
You may be glad to know you can pour three glasses of bubbly, Pantglas2 - one today for olddudders, the others on Sunday for Blue’s DGD and me. ? ? ?
My best wishes are sent to missing posters.
Hoping those who are poorly feel better, that those who are troubled find calm and that you all have a flamingo-filled day.

Just popping in to say Good morning to Mick, Annie and all.
A friend came to collect a cardigan that I had knitted for her, and of course we had coffee and a chat.
Soon I will drive DH to his afternoon volunteering , then another friend is coming for lunch. I have made Broccoli and Stilton soup, and shall cook a part baked baguette.
That's me for today.
Have a good day one and all.

Gosh - so many good wishes, thankyou all very much!

Clearly 12.11.48 was an inauspicious day for humanity, at least compared to two days later, when the present Heir to the Throne was born! Mum and then-Princess Elizabeth were obviously in a race. Sadly, Mum has been gone 48 years.

Ashcombe has had a successful morning with both dentist and blood-test, and we are now eyeing the weather to see if the walk to the pub is sensible - it has been much wetter than forecast.
