Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its also dry here in Brackley this morning.
What I plan to do today could change depending on buses , I will go via Buckingham to Bicester , after doing the usual routine there , return to Buckingham hopefully and view the flea market before returning home.
I did go to Bicester yesterday as with a Friday market there its busy with villagers having there once a week bus in to shop, plus the trend to panic buy as started as to Xmas , I mentioned this to the driver on my bus , and not only is Bicester town shops busy but Bicester Village retail as well.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning everyone from a gorgeously sunny south Manchester! Just had a text ‘ .... so much better mum can we drop her off at yours at 10:30am to play so we can both go to watch .... play football?”. Of course my pleasure eh? I’m glad to hear she’s much better with no temperature.

Mind you at 3pm we’d already been asked to go round to theirs for a couple of hours so mum and dad could go shopping in the Trafford Centre. Which means of course that today we have a window of 3 hours to ourselves! Himself just said he plans to make the huge chilli for Sunday dinner for seven in that slot. No rest for us today either Susan56.

Lovely happy memories Maw thank you for sharing them. Loved that Dollie is turning into Greta Marydoll that made me laugh! Hoping for good news next week about your daughter in law GG13 which also made me think too of yours PollyTickle, I hope she is managing to cope with her on going treatment. It’s so nice to have you back Pantglas Now where’s Scentia toddled off to this morning?

Missing our crumpet queen. I intend to ring her next week. I forgot whilst L’il Miss has been poorly. And amselerin have you moved yet? Thinking of you and little Waldi. It goes without saying that we miss you GrandmaFrench and your postcard perfect life in French France. Come back and brighten up our gloomy days please!

Enjoy Saturday all who can. Ooh, I’ve just been brought another cuppa whilst I’m still in my bed. I think he’s a keeper Dear Readers.

Good morning Mick and all his followers. Another area with grey dull weather.
Love the cake Maw - I once made Thomas but it didn’t look as professional as yours!
I am glad you are getting help from your son GrannySomerset and I hope everything goes to plan.
Kitty good look with your massed family. Our local family are all isolating again and waiting for PCR results.
We are off to a local farmers’ market if we get moving in time. We haven’t been to this one before. Then it’s a day of rugby and seeing.
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

Morning all

It’s grey here in S E Essex, which is mirroring my mood. DiL is healing well, waiting for the results is like being in limbo unable to plan ahead.

Not a lot planned for this weekend, I shall watch The Lord Mayors Parade this morning on TV. It brings back memories of my paternal Grandpa taking me along to watch when I was a child.

Thinking of Jaxjacky at this difficult time ?

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire. It’s a beautiful autumn day here, not a cloud in a bright blue sky. I’m up and showered, no particular plans for today. Hoping to go for a walk later.

Sending hugs to anybody poorly or sad. Hope we may all find a ? or two somewhere along the way.

Popped back in to say how pleased I am that things are looking up (a little) for Grannysomerset. Hopefully MrGS will take some notice of what your DS says. My DH was only too aware that his care depended so much on my health, so I hope the respite care etc comes to fruition for both your sakes.

Good morning all from Sunnyside Lancashire coast.
A quiet day today after a busy day yesterday. I scrapped the acrylic I was working on and have started another. As it has lots of dark branches against a light sky, I could be at it for some time. Then to run through with my little band for concerts, ups and downs. Invited in the evening to friend singing in town, but as not starting until 9, after a busy day, I looked at the darkness, wind and rain, then my fire and closed curtains and you will guess what happened.
Bought a nice ‘bodycon’ dress I don’t need and will wear it tomorrow out for a meal,
Thinking of anyone with troubles and will read through later.

A late good morning from Sunny S Lanarkshire. I didn’t sleep well last night and fell asleep again after an early breakfast and loading the washing machine. Feel much more like the thing now.
Delighted to read your happy post Marydoll and really pleased for youGrannySomerset that a little light may be on the horizon. Speaking from sad experience, even if your husband doesn’t understand the need for the respite care, you need it if you are to go on looking after him, so in the end it’s for him too.

Wishing you strength and sending kind thoughts to all who need them. Have a good weekend everyone???

Good morning all from a beautiful sunny autumn day here in Glasgow.

Just read your post Marydoll. ? cheeky besom.

A timely reminder from you baubles, I must get my finger out and consult the wish lists both DGs have given me with links to online shopping sites. ? Thankful I will not have to go near the city as COP26 winds up today.

As the garden is a carpet of fallen leaves, I will play with my latest toy, a leaf blower which should keep me busy for the day, coffee breaks included of course to keep me going.

Wishing strength to all going through such difficult times just now, remember to look after yourself too.
