Hard to apologise on threads!

Gosh have been scrawling thru threads and it seems quite volatile at times and wonder where some ladies ..oops can't say that or can I? Some posters don't read the whole thread and where do you ALL get the energy from? ?

It's impossible for threads to cater both for those at home with time on their hands and for those zipping on at the end of the day. And we can many of us be in one category one day and another the next.
It may be maddening to make a new point with no response and then find someone else saying the same thing later and arousing bags on interest, but c'est la vie.

Alegrias1 Sat 20-Nov-21 14:06:52

That happens all the time winterwhite. Just one of those things. smile

Unfortunately what also happens is that people accuse of you doing/saying something you didn't and never come back to say they were wrong.

I find it a bit frustrating when people openly admit they haven't (bothered to?) read previous postings but proceed to comment anyway. How can one contribute constructively without having done that?

JaneJudge Sat 20-Nov-21 14:19:26

I don't find it difficult to apologise

Namsnanny Sat 20-Nov-21 14:29:45

TBH isnt this thread a bit goady?
So everyone piles on and hey presto! Proof that Bea65 is correct?

Smileless2012 Sat 20-Nov-21 14:38:53

Don't see how the thread title relates to the OPconfused.

Ilovecheese Sat 20-Nov-21 14:41:48

I think as well as time, it depends on what device is being used. For example, I am more likely to post, and make a longer post if I am on my desktop rather than on my tablet because I find the keyboard easier to use on the desktop.

Shinamae Sat 20-Nov-21 14:42:56

I always make a point of reading the whole thread before commenting….

Agree Smileless2012 that's why I was wondering the motive?....

It’s chaotic. I love it grin

Apologies to everyone for everything.

Beswitched Sat 20-Nov-21 15:09:30

I don't understand this thread. The title is about one thing, and the opening post about something else.

JaneJudge Sat 20-Nov-21 15:09:42

If anyone wants a distraction. I bought a new rug today This one and unfortunately as I had budgeted more for the new rug, I bought loads of other stuff too blush

What have you all been up to?

Blossoming Sat 20-Nov-21 15:14:08

I admire your ability to budget for purchases janejudge, I’m mostly an impulse buyer.

Granniesunite Sat 20-Nov-21 15:14:37

Some people read a thread then try to derail it by posting something totally unrelated.

Namsnanny Sat 20-Nov-21 15:45:29

Do they? How annoying.

True, if posters dont like something they read they do that, I think it's quite tedious.

Namsnanny Sat 20-Nov-21 15:53:05

Threads do meander, following to the posters thoughts I suppose.
