Gosh have been scrawling thru threads and it seems quite volatile at times and wonder where some ladies ..oops can't say that or can I? Some posters don't read the whole thread and where do you ALL get the energy from? ?

I have recently sent a sincere apology to a lovely person- by pm- much better that way. And it was accepted with generosity and grace.

JaneJudge

If anyone wants a distraction. I bought a new rug today This one and unfortunately as I had budgeted more for the new rug, I bought loads of other stuff too blush

What have you all been up to?

I like that, JaneJudge, if I copy you and buy one I apologise in advance.

It was cooooooold but we raised £100 just with a small box for donations
Feels great

Crikey, Bluebelle! Well done.

Just realised I haven't contributed yet so I must do that asap.

clickbait.
intrusive, and rather disgusting imagery, adverts.

Lucca Sat 20-Nov-21 16:06:46

Well done Bluebelle !
I have played tennis and thought about what to wear tonight to the ballet.

What ?

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 16:10:40

Yes, I have some rather odd adverts appearing.

Would any Gransnetter wear those, I wonder?
All I clicked on was Habitat!

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 16:11:55

Oh, Mumsnet needs me now, apparently.

I don’t think that that is what ‘click bait’ means anyway

Beswitched Sat 20-Nov-21 16:32:45

I'm only getting Littlewoods ads.

BlueBelle Sat 20-Nov-21 16:45:38

No adverts for me except an very small Selfridges one to the right hand side

JaneJudge Sat 20-Nov-21 16:51:43

my link leads toa rug confused

DillytheGardener Sat 20-Nov-21 16:54:02

JaneJudge that is a jolly nice rug, what else did you purchase on your spree? Sparked off by another threads poster querying the best places to buy cashmere, I’ve done some Google window shopping and saved some tabs to see if some jumpers I like go on sale.
BlueBelle you are very brave! Were you decked out in a wetsuit?

Smileless2012 Sat 20-Nov-21 17:03:01

Well done Bluebellflowers.

Wasn't sure what this thread was supposed to be about but like the way it's goingsmile.

JaneJudge Sat 20-Nov-21 17:04:08

I bought some habitat outside lights
some birthday presents (make up brushes, vanity case, nail polish)
some Christmas wrapping paper
an A3 print of somewhere we love which will need a frame
a whale hook and house lantern blush

BlueBelle Sat 20-Nov-21 17:05:17

No I don’t wear a wetsuit Dilly just a cossie and today a yellow
t shirt for Pudsey it’s not really brave, brave is saving someone from a burning house ?it’s freezing but kinda enjoyable and the group ( all strangers to each other for the most part) gives it a feel good boost
So far I m managing twice a week it ll be the first year I go through the year (if I make it ) it’s sort of fun is a ouch sort of way ?

JaneJudge Sat 20-Nov-21 17:05:21

This was the house lantern I bought it as a Christmas present.....

sodapop Sat 20-Nov-21 17:24:08

Not difficult at all to apologise Bea not sure what you want from your post.

Beswitched Sat 20-Nov-21 17:24:30

That lantern is really sweet smile

Blossoming Sat 20-Nov-21 18:04:27

Ooh, I like the lantern, and the sheep light pull on the same page!

Mollygo Sat 20-Nov-21 18:11:00

If you haven’t got time to read the whole thread. Just answer the OP, that’s what the first few posters have done. I can cope with 2-3 pages, but when a thread has moved on 4 or more pages, I tend to read the OP and the last page. Often I find they are barely related.
BlueBelle congrats on your sea dip for Pudsey. That warrants a round of applause and a warm towel!???

GrannyGravy13 Sat 20-Nov-21 18:13:34

According to Sir Elton John sorry seems to be the hardest word ????

BlueBelle Sat 20-Nov-21 18:18:10

What are we being sorry for ?
I m not really understanding this thread at all
