Gosh have been scrawling thru threads and it seems quite volatile at times and wonder where some ladies ..oops can't say that or can I? Some posters don't read the whole thread and where do you ALL get the energy from? ?

Grannmarie Sat 20-Nov-21 19:07:50

Well done, Bluebell, I'm seriously impressed!

Whitewavemark2 Sat 20-Nov-21 19:25:59

I’ve flobbed a lot today. Sat reading, did some online shopping - new towels for the new bathroom, fiddled around in the greenhouse - a bit halfheartedly. Watched tv. Not a lot at all really.

BlueBelle Sat 20-Nov-21 19:30:33

grandmarie ??

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:43:17

flobbed a good word.

I did some washing, well the machine did it, used Persil so I hope people don't shun me because of the smell (another thread), crocheted, now watching Strictly (unusual for us but we're enjoying slobbing or flobbing).

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 19:45:36

Flobbing has a horrible meaning around these parts.

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:50:13

Oh! I'd never heard it before.

I was slobbing around ?

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:51:02

Oh dear, well I definitely didn't do that!!

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 19:51:23

grin

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 20:11:14

I apologise for using the word flobbed
It was whitewave wot made me ?

(No excuse.)

BlueBelle Sat 20-Nov-21 20:13:30

I apologise for not knowing what I m apologising for

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 20:15:50

You can apologise for the fact you made us all feel guilty today!!
?‍♀️ ?

Zoejory Sat 20-Nov-21 20:21:08

Love is never having to say you're sorry

Never understood that at all

Whitewavemark2 Sat 20-Nov-21 20:29:44

? what does it mean around your parts? I apologise for unknowingly using a very horrible or rude word. ?

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 20:50:43

Flobbing means hawking up phlegm, and spitting it out, here.
Hence the phrase "flobbing up a greenie". blush

It's more a teen boy activity/saying, obviously.
