Gosh have been scrawling thru threads and it seems quite volatile at times and wonder where some ladies ..oops can't say that or can I? Some posters don't read the whole thread and where do you ALL get the energy from? ?

I’m sorry I don’t understand the title.
Equally sorry that I don’t understand the OP either.
Not sorry about the rug or the whales.
Happy I had three gorgeous grandsons - and their lovely parents - visiting today.
Also happy that one of our daughters-by-choice took us out for a very delicious and somewhat extravagant meal this evening.

Beswitched Sat 20-Nov-21 22:07:37

Well after a nice family evening I'm off to bed with a good book. Night Al and deepest apologies.

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 21:48:35

Oh yes, I have heard that word, used by those less couth than me!

Blossoming Sat 20-Nov-21 21:16:10

It’s called gobbing around here, though not by me obviously as I would never be so uncouth.

as long as it isn't on my new rug

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 21:09:19

I just looked it up, and there are various meanings, one of which is to spit.
I'm thinking that the flobbing is the act of getting the greenie onto your tongue and "flobbing" it out.
Apologies all.

Mollygo Sat 20-Nov-21 21:06:25

I’m sorry I now know what flobbing really means. ??
I thought it was to do with the FlowerPot Men said.

Zoejory

Love is never having to say you're sorry

Never understood that at all

it was most probably invented by a <whispers> man

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 20:53:42

grin
Horrible isn't it?
I must check with grandson and find out if it's still said.

Shinamae Sat 20-Nov-21 20:52:32

MissAdventure

Flobbing means hawking up phlegm, and spitting it out, here.
Hence the phrase "flobbing up a greenie". blush

It's more a teen boy activity/saying, obviously.

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:51:02

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:50:13

Oh! I'd never heard it before.

I was slobbing around ?

MissAdventure Sat 20-Nov-21 19:45:36

Flobbing has a horrible meaning around these parts.

Calistemon Sat 20-Nov-21 19:43:17

flobbed a good word.

I did some washing, well the machine did it, used Persil so I hope people don't shun me because of the smell (another thread), crocheted, now watching Strictly (unusual for us but we're enjoying slobbing or flobbing).
