There is a short clip on MSN news where an Aldi staff member insists that the man moves his silver car. The only problem is it is not his car and the member of staff will not accept this. The man completely keeps his composure and asks Her if she has the keys to the car because it is not his. Well whose is it she asks? He replies I have no idea but that is my car up there. Well I want you to move it now she says. Okay no problems he says and walks towards his vehicle and the clip ends. I think I would have asked why do you think the silver car is mine and for what reason do you want me to move my car, is it causing an obstruction or are you just being a jobsworth. Truly bizarre behaviour from this employee. How do you think you would have reacted to this?

In the co-op once, I bought some conference pears.
Outside, I noticed I'd been charged for a different variety of pear which was dearer.
Back in the shop, the assistant told me she had to put in the code for that kind as her list had no other code for pears. ?
She suggested I speak to Sylvia the supervisor.
I did. Sylvia came over and the assistant gave her the same story in self-righteous tones.
Sylvia looked horrified and took me off to another till for a refund. ?

I saw the Aldi video clip in the online dm yesterday.....what a fool the assistant must have felt........

Having watched the clip, at first I thought it was a spoof thing, a set up, but then having watched and listened again, think it’s the assistant being a jobsworth, she saw the man with his car keys in hand and told him to move his car ....and although his car wasn't the silver one she thought was his, he was still parked where presumably he shouldn’t have been. All a bit odd.

Round our way Aldi are not allowed to pack bags, it is to do with their scan speed.

Why do you think that?

^The Aldi Bridlington store in St John's Street, where the car parking incident took place, only opened for the first time on Thursday^

It will probably open for the last time on Friday!

Fabulous reply. ??
