‘Tis the season to be silly ( or almost time) so once again am inviting one and all to the grand Christmas Ball at Lemongrove Manor
These shindigs need starting early as there is so much to do!
Lord Lemongrove has been busy testing mince pies and pigs in blankets ever since Cook took them out of the oven this morn. What a man!

There will be rooms for those who wish to stay the night, and
Carriages at dawn for those who don’t.

As usual it helps if your offerings are in alphabetical order, but the more sherry we consume....tchblush
Stay and chat awhile if you want to and if pushed for time just state what you will bring ( then I can tick it off my to do lists.)

Here is the address for forgetful heads and newcomers...
Lemongrove Manor
Much Ado Inthemarsh
Nr. Rumpling in Parva
Cotswolds

So nice of you Gwyn ? I will reserve the best room for you...will you be bringing a ( ahem!) friend?

Gwyneth Fri 26-Nov-21 19:53:02

Scarf must be hand knitted to keep out the cold. Have heard Lemongrove Manor can be a bit on the draughty side.

Gwyneth Fri 26-Nov-21 19:54:12

Was hoping you might have someone in mind for me Lemon?

Keeper1 Fri 26-Nov-21 20:15:58

Only if they are VIPs - to keep to the alphabetical order theme.

Baubles, for the Christmas tree, or for hanging around your ears, or anywhere else on your body that things can be hung from.

maddyone Sat 27-Nov-21 00:06:58

I’ll be arriving on a camel so I hope you’ve got somewhere to berth him.

glammagran Sat 27-Nov-21 00:20:59

I will bring along one of those tilting holders for cognac glasses (filled!) so a flame is applied to enjoy the contents at their best. As enjoyed on holiday in South Africa.

LindaPat Sat 27-Nov-21 07:38:15

I'm knitting some fancy decorations for the tree in the Great Hall. Please could you let me know how many you need to fill the gaps lemongrove, don't want an overload!
xx
I'll also bring some dry roasted peanuts for us all to nibble on.
