Seen a few posts about the white stuff on gransnet. We don't have any here in South Devon yet sadly.
So do you have any, where are you roughly, and do you love it like me or hate it with a passion?
Do tell smile

We have snow in SW France, all looks like a Christmas card here.

It has just started snowing here on the Berkshire/Hampshire border. It was the local Winter Carnival today for which the weather was cold but dry.

Been snowing here in north Bucks for a couple of hours. It’s very light, but also very cold. I hope it doesn’t settle.

None in south london. I like it if I don’t have to go to work as there is always the worry of ice on the road and I hate the way everything stops in the UK at the slightest hint of snow. Other countries cope, why can’t we?

However, tomorrow is the first day of my (semi) retirement - hurrah - so if it does snow I can snuggle down in bed and go back to sleep!

None in Cornwall. It's rarely seen. I miss the snow I used to get in Derbyshire. My little 4x4 was excellent for getting to work (school). Quite a challenge though!

Kali2 Sun 28-Nov-21 19:47:48

2 days and nights non stop in Eastern France- about 30 cm.

M0nica Sun 28-Nov-21 20:27:41

We have had an hour of snow in south Oxfordshire this evening and the snow is lying deep and crisp and even - well not that deep.

With temperatures already below zero and expected to be so all night, it should still be there in the morning.

JaneJudge Sun 28-Nov-21 20:42:58

it snowed whilst we were in the vaccine queue which was really quite long

EkwaNimitee Sun 28-Nov-21 20:43:51

It snowed heavily for 3 hours this morning, we got about an inch and a half. A very slow thaw has set in but the ground is still covered.

Snow in my part of North Yorkshire. Nothing out the ordinary but the power cuts were not fun.

Witzend Mon 29-Nov-21 11:47:12

A white frost here this morning though! The first we’ve had. My poor begonias have had it now. ?

helgawills Mon 29-Nov-21 11:55:26

Not a lot here in Notts, but never had any settle before in November

Greyduster Mon 29-Nov-21 11:56:09

We had a light covering in South Yorkshire on Saturday, and it soon went away, but yesterday………! It’s just beginning to thaw a little now.

Purplepixie Mon 29-Nov-21 12:02:15
