Good morning all from a bit of a dreich day here in Glasgow.
A bit of a CATastrophic day yesterday. GD2’s cat, Scout, came home with a large gash in his cheek, obviously had a fight so DD1 took him to the vet, an expensive visit for a look at him and prescription for painkillers and antibiotics. Our own cat, who senses when her F&T/worm treatments are due gave her usual performance and needed much persuasion until DH got a hold of her and I gave her this month’s treatment! What a palaver, no idea why she hates this and fears it so much.
Scout is on the mend and our drama Queen can relax for another month.
Lovely that you bumped into your DD and her friend Baubles. It has been said by many that Glasgow is like a village where you are bound to bump into someone you know.
Sad to read how deserted it has become.
A disappointing day for you Marydoll I got such a fright reading about your fall, wishing I could have been there to help you up and check you were ok. Hugs.
Pleased to hear your self diagnosis was confirmed GrandM. I noticed on the Alternative Medicine thread a poster mentioned she had a successful outcome with acupuncture to cure her plantar fasciitis. Your poor DH, gout is so painful. Hoping your DS mend quickly and is able to make the journey home. ?
Hope you are reading this morning’s thread EV. I am gutted to hear you have been banned, bloody nonsense after years of being a positive on GN this is how you are treated. I hope you are well and know how much you are sadly missed.
Upwards and sideways for another day hoping those who need it, have a better day.
