Given to us on our wedding day 25+ yrs ago and my eldest GS and his daughter 3 yrs ago. No humourus(sp?) ones but favourites nonetheless.

I don't have any fridge magnets. My fridge is built-in, it has a cupboard door over it. ?

I like this one!

Can't do photo but my favourite is " Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak."

So is mine but when I moved here, I bought a small magnetic white board to display my favourite fridge magnets, it’s like a picture frame now. I only keep fridge magnets from places I have visited, I enjoy looking at them and remembering my holidays.

Can't single out a favourite but they're all a reminder of occasions or places I've experienced and give me huge surge of pleasure each time I open the fridge. Wonderful!

I really don't care for fridge magnets and didn't have any when I had a free standing fridge - you have to keep taking them all off when you clean the kitchen each day. In this new house the fridge is built into a cupboard.

My fridge door is glass, not metal.

I'll try to add mine - the laptop is doing funny things today.

I think I bought the angel at a garden centre if I recall rightly. I had to add a necklace as she was dropped and literally broke her neck so it hopefully hides the join, it's not very stable. I need to have another go at it.

The 2nd is on the front of the boiler. I try to keep my cool but just once in a blue moon you have to let rip, don't you think?

Our fridge and freezer doors are covered with goodness knows how many very colourful wooden magnets, mostly fish but a few birds plus a frog and a turtle thrown in. All bought by dh when he was based in Jakarta for a year.

They’re very popular with little Gdcs - the youngest (2 in January) spent ages last week bringing me one after the other, and then putting them back.

I wipe where my fingers touch to open. I take the magnets down maybe twice a year. I'm such a slob! (The inside is very clean)

I miss having somewhere to put magnets because everything is integrated now.

Blondiescot Thu 09-Dec-21 17:34:01

The vast majority of ours have come from places we've visited over the years, so they're a nice reminder of our travels. My favourites are the nazar boncugu (evil eye) charms we've brought back from various places throughout Turkey.

Bluebellwould Thu 09-Dec-21 17:39:01

Oh god no! It’s frightfully common ?
( borrowing from another thread today).

kittylester Thu 09-Dec-21 17:39:31

I want your pink one, lovebeigecardigans.

I have magnets from musicals and places we have visited too.

Please ignore the fact that DH needs to change the fridge filter.

???

EllanVannin Thu 09-Dec-21 17:46:22

I have one that makes me smile " I've got one nerve left and you're getting on it ". grin.

Among others which I removed recently, mainly of my travels.

MissAdventure Thu 09-Dec-21 17:57:27

I had (note, past tense) one that said
"I am woman.
I am invincible.
I am tired".

Also one saying
"Save time. See it my way."

Kim19 Thu 09-Dec-21 18:00:53

Thanks foghorn! Must be tongue in cheek surely?

Ashcombe Thu 09-Dec-21 19:04:30

These three are my favourites.
