Associates who a woman alleges used her in this way, and decides to sue for financial gain, who are completely innocent of the claims. It happens, the woman may be believed and the man is ruined. Epstein was looking to protect his wide range of associates at the time.

It's hard to think of anyone who would want Prince Andrew as a family member. On the radio this morning a journalist, who has written an article about him for the Sunday Times, said (to paraphrase) 'he hasn't been pleasant to people on the way up and nobody has anything good to say about him now; he is not liked'. I also feel a little uneasy about Virginia Giuffrie. Hopefully the truth will emerge, but apparently she has had a case dismissed from court previously for a similar charge against another man, and was not called as a witness for Ghislaine Maxwell's trial as there were 'glaring inconsistencies' in her evidence. None of this means that she wasn't a victim of the legal system of course; what a shambolic mess.

After the passage of so many years I would doubt someone could remember what happened on a particular date unless the date had a particular significance for them or they kept a detailed diary.

I don’t think PA is particularly likeable and thank goodness he’s not the heir to the throne, but I have misgivings about VG and her motives. I would like to see the case dismissed simply because I don’t believe all she says, but the damage has been done.

I can date the year and month of a very few, but very traumatic events. I could not identify a date except for one. I could find that with the aid of a calendar for the year in question - 34 years ago

Sorry Annie. I was simply identifying that in one traumatic event, I can easily name the year, the month but the exact date, the day of the week isn’t frozen in my memory

I think we are GSM , I didn’t believe Andrew after one tv interview, ?guffrie so many things causes me to believe she lies .

Its now being reported that PA is frantically trying to sell his ski chalet to raise funds for his lawyers. As I recall, the property actually has not been paid for, they bought it through 'connections', and they owe a substantial sum to the original owners This was reported last summer, I think, and cannot see where he would get any money to pay a large amount. Hope to god its not from the Civic Purse, cos thats me and you.
