Prince Andrew Can't Sweat

Doing wrong is not black and white even in law.

My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.

Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.

I too think Giuffrie needs the limelight , what next, a book, a film ?

Grany Sun 09-Jan-22 12:16:08

Because she wants rich and powerful, some of whom think they are above the law, to face justice same as any other person would have to.

It's about being held to account stand up in court.

Chewie are you claiming the Queen is involved in this ?

Then why sign an agreement ?

Anniebach Sun 09-Jan-22 12:20:43

Using the f word says much about the writer.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 09-Jan-22 12:28:31

In a way it doesn’t really matter what motivates Giuffre.

What she has to prove is that Andrew was complicit in sex trafficking in the U.K. and underage sex as well as sex trafficking in the USA.

That is it end of.

All the time I think about the effect all this will have on Guiffre's children; I believe she has three and I don't know how old they are.
And I am not impressed by the behaviour of Prince Andrew and his wife either and the publicity they have both sought in the past.

For goodness sake Molly she wants justice!! Its all too easy and too "normal" for the very wealthy to walk away from things us poorer folk would get locked up for, putting his hand in his mothers pocket to get him out of a mess SHOULDN'T be an option .IF he's innocent let him go to court where he can tell his side of the sordid tale .Then he can walk free with his head held high .Until he does face the music he'll be tarred for life ,guilty by association is what he'll be .

Yes, this the bottom line for Andrew.

I think he will pay her off, and we won`t see him for a few years.

I am pretty certain he will do just that as the RF will never allow dirty linen etc.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 09-Jan-22 12:53:41

What I wouldn’t want to happen is that there is a clause in the payout along the lines that it doesn’t admit to guilt, because once again the rich and powerful have paid their way out of the system.

Anniebach Sun 09-Jan-22 12:56:24

It does matter what motivates Giuffrie,

It does matter what motivates Giuffrie,

Why?

Anniebach Sun 09-Jan-22 13:04:03

Why doesn’t it matter Whitewave ?

Because of the law annie. The law doesnt care what my feelings might be it cares if a law has been broken.

*Caleo*, poor people are always given free legal representation by the state in criminal cases. A poor person is very unlikely to face a civil action such as this.

In the GM case the women were called as defence witnesses. GM is rich enough to pay for her defence. They didn’t have to find any money.

I don't know where this misinformation came from
In the US a number of legal firms and organisations offer legal representation in criminal cases. It is not state funded. It is known as "pro-bono work"It is often undertaken by young lawyers as part of their career path
In the UK only under 16s, under 18s in full time education and those receiving certain benefits are entitled to legal aid.
Anyone who thinks the legal system isn't different for the rich is just mistaken.

I don't think any woman should be ashamed to tell her children she was abused and trafficked as a child and she is seeking justice for this abuse. In fact she should be proud to set her children such an example.

A woman should speak out , if she speaks the truth

Yes that. It is what I meant by my post.

lemsip Sun 09-Jan-22 13:34:05

a wellknown person recently told 'Her Truth' on a tv show

. Another wellknown person's response was,

..... ... 'Some recollection may vary'

everyones so called truth of the same event can indeed vary whatever the subject. But more so when big money is involved

Sparklefizz Sun 09-Jan-22 13:38:20

What about Carolyn Andriano, the woman who has now come to the attention of the press and who was in court last week, who says that she was introduced to Epstein by Giuffre, who took her to Epstein's place to demonstrate what he liked having done? The woman was a child of 14 when G introduced her to Epstein.

If true, this would make Giuffre as guilty as Maxwell.

Yes however going on Oprah is not illegal.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 09-Jan-22 13:46:12

Everyone is missing the point.

Giuffre is not the one answering the charges.
