anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

I’ve had a go with Absurdle. I tried doing it like Wordle and it was OK. Then I read the explanation. That really put me off.

I haven’t got a chance with nerdle.
I found out when doing teacher training that I’ve got dyscalculia, which explained a lot!
Just the thought of it makes me feel a bit sick!

Is anyone else having any success with Absurdle?
I know that it’s got a couple of fans on here.
I can’t fathom out the rules

I went online to find it.
I'm still figuring out the rules. I have a fair idea, but not quite there yet. ?

What are the rules and do I just go online to get it? I heard there's not an app for it.

I got it in 3 today. Off now to check out Nerdle ……..

It is more daunting, I think, but both are addictive.

Thanks for the Nerdle link. Took me 5. For some reason it looks much more daunting than Wordle.

got in 3 today , I'm just happy to solve it though even if it takes all 6!

This may have already been posted, but you can access all past Wordle puzzles on Wordle Archive. Easy to find and you can play it all day.

4 for me and I am very happy with that as for most of the game I was totally flummoxed!

I think that you need some sort of award for getting anything right!

4 goes for ne again today, I’m loving this game! I agree Marydoll about working out the possible answers once some letters have been eliminated.

Sorry but who was making anyone feel bad ?? A tad over sensitive maybe ?

I’ll volunteer to make myself feel daft …I didn’t notice until yesterday that letters which turn grey are then “eliminated ‘ on the keyboard ????‍♀️?

I too was enjoying this thread. What a pity it has been spoiled by a few negative comments and the perception is that people are being made to feel bad, if they don't solve the puzzle.

Totally agree, this thread is just for fun, It does not affect my life, I look forward to doing it just once a day.
As Maggie said this is not a support thread, when I get 5 or 6 and I say not pleased, it is about myself only, its also said a bit tongue in cheek.
I also have to say I am on here because I like the game, just that.
Most of the time when people say things they are joking, please keep it light hearted and say what you feel, dont feel awkward and guilty.
