And Good morning to all Kitcheners.
I hope the GC with Covid are not suffering too much. ?
By this time next year when many children will be vaccinated it should give them more protection - as it has with adults this year.

Grandmadinosaur Wed 16-Feb-22 11:16:17

Thank you for the update Marydoll

Good news Marydoll thank you.
Yiayia sorry your DGS is poorly but at least he isn’t missing out on the skiing. Hope he feels better soon.
Have a good day all.

Charleygirl5 Wed 16-Feb-22 12:35:17

Thanks Marydoll hopefully soop will be moved to her single room which is quieter. Glasgow railway station may be another option!

Dogsmakemesmile Wed 16-Feb-22 12:41:14

Good morning everyone. I am so pleased soop is progressing.
Grey and very heavy rain here. Ninety mph winds forecast for later...Have taken ddog out and doing lots of cleaning. Might make scones later.
Scottish government is following Wales re children's vaccinations but no details yet date wise.
Take care everyone. Stay safe.

Grannmarie Wed 16-Feb-22 12:57:33

So pleased to hear good news of soop.
I shall keep up with her progress which I hope is good but will be taking a break from GN for a while to recoup and decide if it is for me any more.
Best wishes to all kitcheners and thanks for your company.

Dogsmakemesmile Wed 16-Feb-22 13:41:00

Annsixty I am sorry you may be leaving

singingnutty Wed 16-Feb-22 14:30:59

Fingers crossed for those further North than us (Midlands) as the storm has just arrived here and I suspect it is going to be puny compared with other areas. I have spent the morning feeding the washing machine and hanging out things on the line as DH brought a ton of washing back from DS2s yesterday. Their machine has broken and can’t get fixed until the weekend. As the morning progressed and the wind increased I was putting more and more pegs on items but finally brought it all in when the rain came. In the meantime DS1 rang to say their machine had broken down and could I run some through in mine! Had to say sorry but not at the moment. Last load of the ton from yesterday in the machine now and the dryer on as well. Just sitting down for a rest!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 16-Feb-22 14:32:31

Pleased to see soop is on the mend.

It is getting rather breezy here, and the sky looks full of rain which is rather unfortunate as I have just agreed to walk up to our local Harvester for dinner with DD and two GC.

annsixty sorry to learn you may be leaving us, you have to do what is right for you x

Tina49 Wed 16-Feb-22 14:44:22

Oh, Marydoll, so glad you are in touch with Soop

BladeAnnie Wed 16-Feb-22 15:08:10

Good afternoon dear kitcheners from a very windy mid-Notts and I believe it is due to get worse ?. Thank you marydoll for the update and please to hear soop is doing well. Beautiful flowers Tilly - and just one point from last night's game. But I always say to Mr BA, one point is better than no points ?. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday and stay warm and safe - away from the storm ?

dustyangel Wed 16-Feb-22 15:08:22

annsixty I’m sorry to hear that you are leaving us. I hope that you decide that a small break is all you need and will be back with us soon even if you just prefer to be an observer x

Thank you Marydoll. Great to have a regular progress report on our soop.

Sorry you feel you might have to leave us annsixty - however, whatever is best for you, and only you know that. Perhaps a short break away just might be the answer. Take care.

SueDonim Wed 16-Feb-22 17:59:20

Still thinking of Soop. Hospital certainly is not the place to go for a rest!

I’m sorry to read that, Annsixty. You could always just stay in the Kitchen, where the atmosphere is always welcoming. flowers

It’s eerily quiet here, it’s possible the latest storm will skirt just south of us. ?. We’ve all had much to endure in the NE of Scotland this winter so it will be a relief if we’re ignored this time. Stay safe, everyone. Xx
