Good Morning Everyone,

My usual bus trip out to Bicester , the routine may change a little later on in year depending on current situ.
Otherwise today laundry first , before other things .
Take Care,
Mick
That's not good about EV. She has just been allowed back. I hope is temporary.
Good morning everyone from the Scottish Borders where my plans have been scuppered due to the snow.
I am rather relieved and it means I have a day when nothing much is expected. I will dig out family photos for my DS who, far away in NZ tells me he has none.
Marydoll what a great time was had by all
grandMattie what a relief when you get there in the end. Though it is all sad stuff it is good to get it settled.
I still have plenty of things to sort after DH's death a year ago, but I am refusing to let myself worry. This is what that expression look after yourself means.
Look after yourselves everyone.
Good morning everyone, we had a lovely walk round the grounds of The Argory yesterday morning, such a beautiful display of snowdrops, really lifted my spirits
Those were some shenanigans Marydoll you obviously had a whale of a time!
When we were discussing unusual names, no one mentioned one of York's shortest streets - Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate! It's not much longer than the street name!!
A late Good Morning to you all from a bright N.Cambs.,
Thank you Urmstongran, sorry to hear about EV, give her our best wishes & hope for a speedy return, why on earth has she been suspended?
Great photos, Marydoll, yes I can see the likeness! good that you had a lovely, albeit tiring, time.
I loved the pics., of the snowdrops aggie, ours in the garden are almost at their best, I've just spotted the first yellow of a couple of crocus.
This is a "looking forward" time.
Warm wishes to you all, especially those who are poorly.
Good morning from a grey but dry West Sussex.
I worked very hard yesterday removing two deadish lavender bushes from a border outside the church hall and replacing them with a rosemary bush that I bought in Aldi last week. It won’t get much attention so I hope it thrives. After lunch I washed and vacuumed the car - a rare event. Then I took the buckets of kitchen waste to the allotment compost bin and came back and did a bit of clearing in the garage. I felt so virtuous that I have done nothing so far today!
I love the party photos, Marydoll. So pleased to see you having a fun time.
EkwaNimitee I’m always pleased to hear of others giving in to temptation - I had coffee and a large fruit scone after my eye test on Monday. At least you worked off some calories with your tree planting - putting in stakes is hard work.
luluagust your friend will have appreciated the chance to talk. Hope you can keep in contact with your friends.
Love the place/street names - Gwen that York one is wonderful. It’s a shame modern developers can’t be a bit more imaginative with their naming - roads everywhere seem to be the usual flower/bird/tree names with no particular local connection.
Off to look at wood floor choices soon. We’ve been trying to decide on flooring for downstairs for about 18 months. We are so indecisive.
I meant to say thank you for the lovely snowdrop photos aggie. I haven’t seen any spring flowers round here yet.
Grandmabatty I hope you will post a photo of your snowdrops pastel.
Very late this morning due to a number of urgent work issues to sort. A grey dreary day in Oxfordshire, just what I'd describe as a nothing sort of day weather wise.
Looking forward to weekend, DH and I will plan our garden, buy flower seeds and compost and also purchase the all important tomato seeds. We love growing, and make full use of our greenhouse.
Enjoy the day if you can,
to those who have worries or pain.
On a key ring I had years ago “I used to be indecisive now I’m not sure”.
GM, I have a vague memory of it still being legal for the yeomen of Chester to practice their archery every Sunday, also, to shoot any Welsh men who are still within the city walls. hugs
Thanks Urms for the update on EV , hopefully she’ll be back with us soon, I miss her posts
Hi everyone, I’m late again. I’ve been to our local shopping centre as it’s sunny and dry at the moment, and treated myself to the M&S dine in for 2 offer. ( I live alone) but it was so enticing it will do me for 2 days. I walked past Next and saw a sweatshirt in the window which was just my thing, so that was another purchase! Marydoll your hen do may have been tiring but you have some lovely memories to reflect on, and I can see the Anita Manning likeness. Glad GrandMattie will be able to move things on now, love to you all.
Thank you for the photos aggie beautiful, as is your pastel Grandmabatty
So sorry to hear about EV some on here have little tolerance, thanks for letting us know Urms.
What on earth crime did EV commit to warrant a suspension? I have never noticed her writing anything particularly controversial, certainly not on the good morning thread.Let’s hope the powers that be will reconsider.
It is very good news Grandmattie, as all the waiting adds to the painfulness of the whole situation. Hopefully in a week or two you may feel a bit better and I hope you are able to have some rest and sleep now this is not hanging over you. Best wishes
