Welcome home to the wonderful soops. I hope you have a speedy recovery soop and it's the beginning of a much improved quality of life for you.
Much love xxx

Sooper news ( did you see what I did there wink ) that you're home Soop -sending best wishes for a speedy recovery- and thankyou to Mr S, Baggs and MaryD for the welcome updates. x

I have a bad feeling that I have somehow just obliterated my post. So here goes.
I have just got abreast of the joyful news that soop is back where she belongs. Slainte, soop and Mr Soop. You must deserve a wee dram of the good stuff after what is, at the best of times' quite a 'hairy' drive back from Glasgow. Time now for rest, recuperation and doing nothing arduous. And I mean you too Mr Soop. It's been a tough time for you.
The end of my Covid quarantine. My DiL has pointed out that I could be the last person to endure this compulsory absence from society! I have not, for a second, felt the least bit poorly, but test after test cannot lie!

Lovely to hear the news about Soop.
? Aldom - such a difficult and worrying time.

Nannytopsy Tue 22-Feb-22 14:14:39

Our step great grandson was born this morning at 02:22 22:02:2022!

Grandmabatty Tue 22-Feb-22 14:18:36

Congratulations Nannytopsy. It's a good day for a birthday! Dgs1 is three today.

soop Tue 22-Feb-22 14:19:41

Here we are again
Happy as can be
All good pals and jolly good company. grin

Dearest you lovely lot, You haven't been far from thoughts throughout my absence. THANK you Baggs and Marydoll for kindly updating our kitcheners.

There is no way that at one visit I shall be able to read and respond to all your supportive messages. I have missed you. I shall do my best to catch up sooner rather than later.

Drop-bot is no more. 12" of colon dispensed with. Do I miss it. Nah! I am a little sore and the bad bruising is fading fast. It is a new learning curve: managing to fart through a man-made opening leaves me wondering whether or not I should forewarn folk of a certain delicate disposition that I am not being rude. Perhaps a wee badge warning of sudden volcanic explosions might address the subject before the shock-waves create havoc hmm

I have a strict eight weeks of no-nos . Cannot eat exactly what I crave...high fibre is out for a time. Must not lift. Must not pole-dance. I ask you.

The staff at the hospital are the salt of the earth. The surgeon, is in my estimation, world class. I return in three weeks time for a check up.

In the meantime, the sun shines. I an here with you and I love the title of this new kitchen.

Away to lie down for a snoozle. I may not be in and out regular as clockwork. I shall not be too far away and as ever, I thank you for all your generosity of spirit.

With all the love my heart can hold...bye for now. flowers

Soop your a legend. So very pleased for you.?

dustyangel Tue 22-Feb-22 15:41:38

It seems I didn’t post last night in my drugged up state. I thought I had, first to thank Baggs for keeping us all updated and then to cheer at the wonderful news that soop both Mr and Mrs. are safely home again.
Now I’m going to have a grand catch up, I shall cheat and read the one from soop herself, before catching up with everyone else.
I want to thank all of you who have sent me lovely get well messages. I’m sorry, if I go back to re remember names I’ll probably never find my place again.
My own GP phoned at almost nine last night, spoke to DH and said that I have in fact got a cracked pelvis and not a broken hip after all. And not to get out of bed for at least a week.!!! He was surprised that they hadn’t kept me in hospital but didn’t suggest sending me back in thank goodness. Best of all he prescribed different medication which I started about an hour ago and so far no horrendous side effects.

I’m going back to soops post with a big smile on my face and then I shall try to catch up with everyone else.smile

PS for the first time in what feels like months I feel like eating something and the new pill has to be taken with food. A little slice of ginger cake appeals.?!

Marydoll Tue 22-Feb-22 15:44:18

dustyangel. You must have been in horrendous pain. Get well soon! ?

Bellanonna Tue 22-Feb-22 15:47:44

So lovely to hear, soop. Back where you belong.

Bellanonna Tue 22-Feb-22 15:51:26

Dustyangel, I wonder if you were in Portimaõ Hospital? I had my broken ankle seen to there, many years ago. What you have sounds really painful. I hope the meds help and that you will be up and (not running) very soon!

Kalu Tue 22-Feb-22 15:55:38

Back where you belong at last Soop. I have always had a lavatorial sense of humour so your farting dilemma is a classic. ? I thought all your problems we ‘behind’ you. ?
Much love to you both x

GrandmaSeaDragon Tue 22-Feb-22 16:11:40

How marvellous to see you back in the kitchen soop. Take great care as your body heals.

Congratulations Nannytopsy, that’s a birth date not to be forgotten! I wonder if he will be featured in your local paper.

Marmite32 Tue 22-Feb-22 16:16:21

Welcome home again from me Mr and Mrs Soop.
I can't believe it seems to be all over, after all this time.
But still for you to be built up again, ^Soop
Thanks to you Baggs ^. for helping to keep us all in touch.

mrshat Tue 22-Feb-22 16:24:48
