Thank you everyone for the updates on our dear soop ??. Guess who just came for a snuggle on his mum's lap? Yes it's dear old Duncan ??. He came earlier but retreated because I was so excited about my team scoring FOUR goals!! Enjoy the rest of your Saturday. TOYA

I’ve just been out, here in NE Scotland, and I think it’s very wise for Soop to stay another day or two. I don’t know whether there’s snow and ice where she lives but it’s treacherous underfoot and a fall just after a big operation would not be nice.

Have a warm and snug evening, everyone! Xxx

Thank you to Mr. Soop for your email update.
The rain actually stopped at 3pm so I've been shopping.
Another day closer to home Soop. Perhaps only two sleeps away smile shamrock flowers cupcake

That’s a lovely photo baggs can’t wait to see another one of you both again very soon!
It’s been a lovely sunny but very cold day here - we wrapped up warm and went for a walk along the shore of Loch Ness and then met DD2 in a local cafe to warm up! ??

brook those pictures are stunning.

Grandmabatty Sat 19-Feb-22 19:15:02

Brook you are making me jealous.

Marydoll Sat 19-Feb-22 19:15:51

They look so professional! A new career, brook?

Doodle Sat 19-Feb-22 19:15:52

Brook what a stunning photo. Where did you get that blue sky from.
Baggs that’s a lovely photo of you and soop. I don’t think I was on GN that long ago but I have seen others of you since.
Hope Soop has a comfortable day and is back home soon to the loving and tender care of Mr Soop

Grannysommerset sorry I missed your post earlier. The service seems to have gone well, how lovely to have your family contributing. Take care. flowers

Awww thank you all for the kind comments on my photos, I just snapped them on my phone this morning. The blue sky was really lovely to see after so many grey days recently

Callistemon21 Sat 19-Feb-22 19:43:22

Really good photos, brook

Please send us some sun! It was lashing down this morning but a bit better this afternoon.
DH has some plans for some gardening tomorrow so I hope we'll get some calmer, drier weather.

Love the pictures brook memories, thank you. Son now has power back, 27 hours without it, he’s sorting claims and lucky he had a choice of two places to go.
It rained and was windy, a bit, for much of the day, so paper and sport occupied us.
I hope soop is coming along nicely, she’s in the right place for now, until she’s back with her loving half.
Have a pleasant evening all x

Thank you for the update mr soop. Look after yourself, our soop is being well cared for.

Saw our granddaughters for a couple of hours, the privacy fabric has been secured across the hole in the fence so no longer living in quite such a goldfish bowl, all is well in my world tonight.

Sleep well everyone.

Dogsmakemesmile Sun 20-Feb-22 08:59:51

Brook thank you for the beautiful photographs. Invigorating and a reminder that blue skies are possible whatever the season. We seem to be whizzing through all four seasons here. Sunshine, rain, sleet and now a dank greyness over the past hour. Though warm enough to switch off the heating.
No plans bar ddog walks. Have made soup for lunch. Hope*soop*s recuperation continues and she will be home within days. TOYA

Morning everyone. The wind is howling outside again today. We’re going to son’s house for lunch, otherwise it would have been another ‘at home’ day.

Kalu Sun 20-Feb-22 10:14:55

Oh, I remember that photo Baggs - one of your Inverary meet ups? Lunch at the George who make the best steak pie ever.

Stunning photo Brook. I know the area well.

On thé off chance that you may be up to reading what is going on in your kitchen dear Soop, I wish you good morning and a speedy recovery. x

Grandmabatty Sun 20-Feb-22 10:20:32

Good morning kitcheners. I thought I'd show you the birthday cake my daughter made for dgs1 who is obsessed with dinosaurs. His birthday is on Tuesday but there was an open afternoon yesterday. He was very excited.

SueDonim Sun 20-Feb-22 10:26:32

We’re sharing your blue skies here on Deeside, Brooke! I had to open the windows yesterday, it was so hot in the house with the sun pouring in. Sunny again today, although it will be windy again at 4pm for one hour. How odd. ?

I hope Soop is feeling much, much better than she was one week ago.

Raaaaaar! ? at that cake, Grandmabatty! That’s amazing.

Have a good day, folks.

maddyone Sun 20-Feb-22 10:32:25

That’s a lovely cake Grandmabatty.

Change of plan. We’re not going to son’s today after all. I started with cystitis yesterday and so I started the antibiotics I always have in for that eventuality. I thought I’d be fine by today, but although improved, I’m still not feeling well at all. We let son know and he sounded disgusting. It’s always hard to disappoint your children isn’t it?

Grandmabatty Sun 20-Feb-22 11:10:10

Maddyone ?. I haven't had cystitis for years but I won't forget how awful it made me feel. Suedonim I woke to pouring rain, then it turned to beautiful blue skies, now back to rain again. April showers in February!

Feelingmyage55 Sun 20-Feb-22 11:54:27

Grandmabatty. Fab-u-lous cake.
Happy Sunday all.

maddyone Sun 20-Feb-22 12:22:39

..he sounded disgusting….

So sorry to my dear son, he didn’t say that at all, he sounded disappointed.
Poor boy, what a horrible mother to say that!

Yes Grandmatty cystitis is horrible, but this time it’s made me feel generally unwell too.

maddyone Sun 20-Feb-22 12:23:22

Grandmabatty, I’m not having a very good morning with my typos.
