Yesterday I saw Kirstie and Phil discussing where their happy place was. They both said it was their bed. Mine is my bath, and my garden in the summer. Where is yours?
It would be abath, if i had one, but have had shower only, for nearly 10 years, so ive had enough, im looking for a new rented home. With a Bath, for long soaks.(ive even bought a plaque that says " the bath is my happy place" in readiness.?
Katelios, Kefelonia (Greek Islands) where my late husband and I returned to every year up until his unexpected passing in 2018. We first found our paradise in 2006.
Covid19 allowing, I still continue to return annually, as he wanted me too. It's a very safe island, unspoilt by mass tourism where I know the locals and many local visitors as we are called who return annually like we do.
At home my happy place would be my bed, especially after bed change, or/and being with my family
Being in the company of our family and friends I love and appreciate. Sitting in our sun house husband at my side our lovely dog in her bed. With a nice glass of wine listening to the birds. Late at night cosy in my bed with iPad or a cook book and a nightcap! Simple pleasures is all I ask for then I am in my happy place.
Sitting with a book and a cup of tea by the beach. Preferably a stony beach, so the sea makes a lovely noise, but I’ll take the local Sandy beach too. Bliss ?
Very lucky Violet. I can't wait to retire. I feel happy when I am at home on a cold winters night, candle burning and cosy. I also love collecting my Grandson from School and taking on the way home before he gets on his computer for his allotted screen time.
