Happy Easter morning ???
Up early to prepare roast pork for family lunch. Now rushing off to church as DH is taking part in a drama for which he hasn’t seen the script. Will take deep calming breaths when we get there.

Good morning Mick and all and a happy Easter Sunday.
Got going yesterday and exercised then walked in the local sand dunes in the sun. Sat at a favourite spot, a little wooden bridge on a stream where the irises will come and nice to chat to dog walkers etc whilst I read a book on my phone “Malice in Wonderland” about Cecil Beaton by Hugo Vickers so rather gossipy.
Will give my neglected feet a pedicure later and slept in my son’s bedroom last night, just for a change.

A late good morning to you all. Not had time to read through but will try later.
We have had a busy morning around camp. A lovely Egg hunt and game of baseball and a little saunter along the canal.
Off for lunch at a local pub soon , hope to sit in the garden.

I haven’t read the posts yet as I’ve been weeding a patch in the border and planted some creeping flox, in the hope they will control the weeds!?then am having some lunch before watching the Monte Carlo Open final. There has been some fabulous tennis this week! Have a peaceful and happy day everyone.

I now have a very heavy cold, feeling rough, but continue to test -negative- for the dreaded Covid.

Thank you Jaxjacky. I think the end is in sight. I should have known by now though that thinking I would ‘just’ fork in some manure was wrong! It turned out to be stiff physical exercise…unearthing large clods of clay and discovering a cache of discarded builders’ materials, broken roof tiles etc.

Oh dear, we’ve just remembered it’s our Wedding Anniversary today!! Well , I did……

However, I did buy MrOops an Easter egg and I cooked a roast…
