Watching tonight for what will be first time in years and agree it would be nice for UK ?? to do well, but think Ukraine ?? will be the run away winner.

GS is here overnight so also looking forward to his comments - he's quite forthright and hasn't been exposed to Eurovision before!
I think it's a given that the Ukraine will have the people's vote, and rightly so, but hoping for more than a zero for Sam.

I can still remember being in a room full of friends watching ABBA win! I don’t think any of the songs I like seem to be very popular. I haven’t actually heard Sam’s song all the way through yet. And I haven’t checked the running order yet….

I haven't watched Eurovision for about 30 years but have just switched on for some light entertainment!

Mind, I've had enough excitement this evening with the penalty shoot-out! ?

I hate penalty shoot outs. I feel so sorry for the ones that miss. I’ve had three pence ew on Estonia at 300/1. Don’t like most of the popular ones eg Sweden.

Well I enjoyed Norway's novelty song, very catchy!

However I am fully expecting Ukraine to win, as a sign of European solidarity.
The opening ceremony of Give peace a chance was very uplifting.

I'm sure Sam will do well, best performer/ song we've had for some time.

I'm just enjoying the spectacle, and the introduction to each song is like an Italian travelogue, what beautiful places!

I think it’s awful this year. I like Iceland. Reminds me of First Aid Kit.

I watch TV with subtitles, so I'm enjoying seeing the English lyrics to the songs. Also loving the stunning Italian scenery.

Been a few I like. Did like Norway's and also Ukraine. Trouble is I forget which is which though could be the wine! Opening ceremony was very moving. Ok so Moldova very good too! Agree Callistemon standard much better.
