Hail storm today!

Alternate heavy rain and sun in S Hants.

Chilly wind but mostly dry with the odd shower. Not pleasant for May.

When I went out at 6 this morning it was pouring, but not a breath of wind, so able to walk for an hour with an umbrella and stay dry.

Central Scotland here and very dark clouds massing. No rain yet today. We've been talking locally about how disappointing May has been here. Normally we can have a sunny and warm month but it's been very cool and windy.

The sun is shining here in mid Wales, and it’s warming up (sorry FC). I’m hoping for a lovely bank holiday weekend.

In Northumberland we have had steady rain all morning. It's still raining now.
DH had planned to do some gardening, but that's a washout.

I've known hail and snow in early June before.
It comes with being an island in the gulf stream.
