I thought they looked lovely today. Is their improved fashion sense down to their husband’s influence and not their mothers now?

Calendargirl Fri 03-Jun-22 19:12:33

Yes, they both looked good. Beatrice looked very trim. Both look very much in love with their handsome husbands.

Lexisgranny Fri 03-Jun-22 19:15:52

I agree, marriage seems to suit them both, their dress sense has improved immensely. People who have spoken to them say that they are both lovely girls.

bit cruel
aren't they both in their 30s now? its not like their Mum has been dressing them

Doodle Fri 03-Jun-22 19:17:08

Yes I thought they looked really nice too and happy.

crazyH Fri 03-Jun-22 19:17:33

They always appear to be lovely girls - Fergie and Andrew have done something right.?

Aveline Fri 03-Jun-22 19:54:01

I always liked those two.

Galaxy Fri 03-Jun-22 20:37:30

I assume they can dress themselves without reference to their mother or husband.

geekesse Fri 03-Jun-22 20:41:32

I’m guessing most of us look back on our fashion choices from our youth with a shudder, and with some gratitude that phone cameras weren’t around to capture our poor taste for posterity.

I was a goth grin

They come across as lovely happy young women.

Deedaa Fri 03-Jun-22 22:19:57

I've been thinking that their dress sense has improved enormously since they got married. Perhaps it's the influence of Beatrice's Italian husband.

Casdon Fri 03-Jun-22 22:37:26

I thought Eugenie looked lovely, but if I’m honest I thought Beatrice’s dress was too old looking, not for a woman in her thirties.

Shinamae Fri 03-Jun-22 22:40:54

And I totally agree

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 03-Jun-22 22:43:13

Beatrice has dressed in a rather matronly way for a few years.

DillytheGardener Fri 03-Jun-22 22:43:27

I thought Lady Louise Windsor looked lovely. She tends to wear rather old fashioned clothes and it was lovely to see her in a younger brand. She seems a credit to her parents and a lovely young lady.

Chestnut Fri 03-Jun-22 23:59:00

I agree their dress sense has improved. They never looked good in the past but I thought that was their mother's influence as her dress sense has always been, and still is, quite dreadful.

Redhead56 Sat 04-Jun-22 00:38:34

They both appear to have grown up very gracefully and it is a far cry from some of their relatives.

How can you possibly think it’s acceptable to speak about people like this? Complete lack of decency.

BigBertha1 Sat 04-Jun-22 06:46:16

I agree with Chestnut.

I think they always suffer in comparison to Kate and Zara who have an innate elegance that some fortunate people have.

FannyCornforth Sat 04-Jun-22 08:34:56

I’ve always really liked the way that Beatrice and Eugenie look and dress.
They always look at ease, and, to my mind, appear to be dressing for themselves; and having fun with clothes.
Much more characterful than Kate, whose sartorial sense definitely isn’t to my taste.
I hope that they don’t start dressing in a more boring, identikit style.

eazybee Sat 04-Jun-22 08:38:59

I thought they looked good because in common with many of the women there they dressed in plain bright tailored clothes.

So why are the shops full of droopy, flouncy, patterned, floral, flowing frocks ?

BlueSky Sat 04-Jun-22 08:42:24

Agree with you Fanny. Always liked them, also not too obsessed with thinness.

TillyTrotter Sat 04-Jun-22 08:42:29

I wonder how much say Beatrice, Eugenia and the other women have in how they are all dressed for such occasions. They must not clash, they must not dress the same.
I thought they all looked lovely yesterday with one exception - in my opinion Zara’s half-hat, half-fascinator looked like it was about to take off her head!
She looked happy enough ‘though.
Like her mum she is probably happier in casual clothes.
