Hello!
So no time like the present…
The Myers-Briggs Personality Test; otherwise known as 16 Personality Types.
I first did it several years ago.
It’s very interesting (well, I think so!)
Here is the link…

Mary the only one that I recognised was the High Expectations part.
Which ties into Compassion Based Therapy which my therapist recommends.
Compassion for ourselves and others. Basically, just being a bit more forgiving and a bit less harsh.

Not based on any test at all, just my observation of humans, I often find sensitive people are prone to getting very "down" at times.
They seem to take on the worlds troubles.
Thats not a criticism at all, just what i think (probably a load of baloney!)

Compassion based therapy sounds interesting Fanny and is very similar to Metta in Buddhism. If you are very hard/critical of yourself it can mean you are likely to harshly judge others.
If you are a perfectionist it can be tricky not to judge yourself. The easiest way to be kinder to yourself is to picture yourself as the young unsophisticated child you once were and feel kindness towards them.

Be kind to your inner child.
Hug them, treat them with compassion and empathy a child deserves. smile

No, no, no smile

You don't need to self-deprecate by including "(probably a load of baloney!)"

Just did the test again - I’m an Advocate. 2 or 3 days ago I was a Defender. I guess they’re similar.

Ooh Stardreamer...Urms and I have just 5 minutes out... We've started this morning doing the longest zip wire trip and then followed it on with a quick surfing the 30ft waves before lunch... Then we did a quick iron man challenge before taking to the skies once more for a tandem sky dive. Just a normal Friday really. But amazingly... because we are amazing we find time to pop into Gransnet to see how our fabulous diverse fellow Grans are doing..lol

ENFJ a protagonist. I did this test about 20 years ago and I came out exactly the same. Interesting. I think a I might be slightly more extroverted now, the percentage was higher.
Thanks for putting it on Fanny, you’re a star!
