Put the oven on. I wasn't thinking clearly when I started the banana bread. Could have left it for a day or so until it got cooler.

Star jumps.
Ironing.

Housework

Whip the bedroom blackout blind down at midday, fling the window wide and then express mild surprise as to how quickly the room warms up.

Visit the garden centre, buy plants and come home to plant them !

Go into the shade and cut up fuchsia tree branches for the green waste bin. Thought I was going to implode!

Take your dog for a walk (except for very early in the morning or late at night when it is cooler). No dog ever died from missing a walk - plenty die from being exercised when it's too hot.

Agreed Blondiescot we wont be taking ours out until about 8.30/9.00 pm and then it will be to the cemetery which is cool and shaded.
