Just got deliveroo to bring in a paella and ice cream from Waitrose.

I've just had my oven cleaned - even more reason not to cook although the temperature has dropped here.

Adding to yours, mokryna - accept any video calls when you're sitting in your underwear.

That's what my mum was doing when I called her an hour ago. grin

Definitely! I had an online lesson 20 minutes after I'd walked DGS back from school. I was bright red in the face from the heat outside and only starting to be less day-glo coloured by the end of the hour lesson.

I would have said, help with Gds’ 6th birthday party in the park, masses of kids - at least 35.
But actually it was fine - plenty of shade under some big trees.

Cook a pie, mashed potatoes, veg and gravy as my husband did for himself this evening in searing heat. No way would I have done that.
