Saw the thread earlier about favourite film and just wondered which is the best gig/concert you have been to. Mine is Queen at Knebworth, closely followed by Michael Jackson at Wembley and Cardiff, though in fairness MJ was more of a show than a concert.

The Osmonds in 2012 in Doncaster was my first ever concert. I've now seen my favourite Merrill Osmond (their lead singer) in his Solo concerts many times since. Sadly he is retiring this year so my friend and I have booked Seven concerts in October for his final UK tour! His voice is still amazing which you can't say for many performers from the 70's.

Back in 1967 when I was 15 I was lucky enough to see the legendary Stax Tour at Hammersmith Odeon Otis Reading, Sam and Dave, Booker T - it was incredible and unforgettable. I think the tickets were something like 5 shillings. Not long afterwards Otis was killed in a plane crash.

Oh mrswoo
I would have given my right arm to see that show. Loved Otis Redding (still do) you were very lucky to see such fantastic artist.
