Good morning all from a sunny W Kent. Friend coming for tea/coffee this morning so will catch up with events. Off to keep an eye on youngest GS this afternoon, first two days at new school have been heavy going so a chance for a chat about it all if he wants.
Good luck for today Mick and I hope you feel better soon gMattie.
Best wishes to all

Morning from S Lanarkshire, I seem to have taken forever to get organised this morning, including having to answer the door to the lawn treatment man in my dressing gown and dripping wet hair. He is very shy and spoke to me while gazing at the ground!

Really lovely photos baubles, I think I’ll try to have a trip there this autumn.

Hope your daughter manages to enjoy her trip Gingster, what a good mummy.

Happy anniversary to the Urmstons and good wishes to all

Hoping all goes smoothly for Mick and that he gets some answers. An unsettled morning though fine at the moment as I get ready soon to go to a matinee performance of Oliver! This is a U3A trip and was booked months ago and a friend and I are going to have lunch out first as a treat. PCC meeting this evening in church will mean a dark walk back so must check that I have a working torch as we have few street lights in our village. So another quite busy day.

My sympathy, gMattie; you have had such a difficult and painful year that it’s hardly surprising if your body is suggesting that you slow up and recuperate. Hope you have a better day.

Good morning from a sunny start at least in Glasgow, should it continue for the rest of the day is anyone’s guess.

I can’t remember the last time we visited Culzean Baubles. A favourite haunt when our girls were younger. A beautiful shot of the archway, worth framing. 1974 is a special year for us too, the year we got married. Happy Anniversary Mr&MrsUrms?

I don’t think you need much persuasion to visit clothes shops Marydoll?. A visit to Massimo Dutti will be on the cards for our next meet up and I will assist you, both of us hobbling back up the hill?
Hoping your procedure goes smoothly today Mick
Your body and your mind will be exhausted after everything you have endured GM, please rest up and look after yourself now.

Best wishes for a good/better day to all.

Morning all, best wishes to those undergoing procedures or feeling a bit 'meh' and Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Urms -how nice to be spending it in Malaga too (I'm not in the least bit jealous envy wink

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Another late good morning from Durham. After a night of rain, we have a glorious day.
Unfortunately, I’m completely fed up being stuck inside, as I’ve no car - day 3 now. I’ve done as much as I want around the house and itching to be out and about (a long walk for a bus and a very busy dual carriage way to cross). SiL delivered both dogs last night, but their conversation is a bit limited. Was supposed to visit friend after her brain surgery, but that’s on hold too.
Happy Anniversary to ?The Urms from another, not the least bit jealous of where you are. (Oh yes, I am - really like Malaga - you’re very lucky).
gM please slow down and look after yourself. You’ve given me food for thought and I might have my house valued, so I have some idea of it’s worth - I’m on a small development, but all the houses are a little different.
Not sure what time Mick has his Scope - hope it goes well.
Have a good day. X

Good morning with a few minutes to spare from East Lothian where, after yesterday afternoon’s heavy rain, the sun is breaking through. We have been here at our flat, near to DD2 and family, for the past week. On Saturday we will head west with the campervan, to leave the flat free for DD1 and SiL who are coming to visit DD2 after dropping DGD1 in Salford to start her university course. We will be visiting a friend in Renfrew on Monday so I will wave to any grans who live within waving distance. We haven’t decided where else we will go. The Burrell is on the wish list. Culzean looks very tempting, baubles. My parents used to go there a lot.

Happy Anniversary to Mr&MrsUrms.

Hope your procedure goes ok Mick.

Litterpicker , our first home was in Renfrew, right beside the Town Hall. The clock in the tower was our alarm clock for work, until it stopped one night!
We were rather late that morning.

Good morning from now drying and brightening Sefton.
It would have been DGS’s first day at school today but he’s unwell. DGD is in though which has put paid to our weekly 3 hour long stints at being Jacques Cousteau in the pool. I did suggest she skive off (? Nanna’s a retired teacher!) but she knew I was just being silly. She would have none of it, valuing education as highly as I do. Ah, well, half term awaits these intrepid swimmers.
Happy anniversary, Urmstongran and get well soon grandMattie. Thoughts to all.
