Soop's kitchen for kindly folk...

Hello everyone. I’m finally having a sit down with a cup of coffee and a cookie. I went to Oxford this morning to move some money around. OH is having expensive work done to one of his teeth. He couldn’t get an NHS appointment and he had to wait a bit to see a private dentist. Anyway, it’s not cheap. I spent a while after lunch typing up the notes from last night’s WI Committee meeting. We didn’t quite come to blows, but the atmosphere was uncomfortable. I’ll be making cauliflower and broccoli cheese for dinner before my Zoom meeting later on. Oh, I also spent time confirming a couple of my hospital appointments. Because of the postal strikes the letters have been arriving in the wrong order. There is a National website for appointments but radiology isn’t included. But, it’s all sorted now. ???to those of you with worries.

Just popping in to say hello everyone. Baggs you are in my thoughts ? as are all you lovely people with worries or sadness in your life. Mr BA has toddled off to Scotland ready to be inspecting an engine bright and early tomorrow. He's not feeling 100% atm - covid negative thankfully but I told him to think about staying tomorrow night too. If he's still not feeling well I'm sure he won't want a five hour drive after being on site all day. I had my flu vaccination this afternoon and am just about to pop a sainsbury's taste the difference beef stroganoff in the microwave and pour myself a cheeky glass of wine. Look at how comfy Duncan was this morning ??

Surgery done and surgeon is pleased with how it went. More details another time. I'm in need of a good cry after a tense day.

It was our youngest GC’s first birthday today and we were invited to the Grand Present and Card Opening, which came with yummy cake! I can’t believe it’s a year. He’s a very bonny baby, well-covered, shall we say, and bouncing and so happy. ❤️

It’s windy and wet here this evening - time to snuggle down. We have our GD for her first sleepover in this new house tomorrow so need to get plenty of sleep tonight!
