Good Morning Everyone,
A dark and wet start here in brackley this morning.
Today I will do the bus to Bicester , as I have 3 days of Hospital visits in various locations from tomorrow until Thursday .
This is a build up to my day surgery next week , where I am likely to have a few days in hospital but we will see.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a sunny NE after a rainy night.
Really enjoyed the London Philharmonic concert at the Sage, only downside was the length of time it took to exit the car park.
We had our dinner of tartiflette and a pleasant bottle of rose wine and then watched the final of young musician. Disappointed at the result, the pianist was superb.
Happy anniversary kitty and Mr k enjoy if you can.
Sorry to hear about Rocky Georgesgran.
Another here telling you to ease up on your outings Mick, you really need to take care before hospital procedures.
DD is still testing positive for covid but her sick note ran out in Belgium and she was supposed to return to work. Powers that be really do not care, when she was ill they made her travel to a pharmacy for an official test and Dr insisted on seeing her face to face for sick note hmm
Day of housework for me.

Morning all. It's a beautiful sunny day here in the Angus coast and I'm sitting in the blazing warm sunshine in the front sunroom enjoying the warmth - but missing the view over sea and hills that I have from the north facing garden room
Enjoy your day out before all your medical appointments Mick. And Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Kitty. That's an amazing photo of Jupiter Greyduster. And what a beautiful little poppet your DGD is, Grandmadinosaur. Enjoy her - they grow up so amazingly quickly! And Grandmattie I'm so glad all went well yesterday - bitter sweet I know, but with wonderful memories
I had a lovely breakfast meet-up yesterday with my youngest Dgd and DD. DGD will soon be 17 and is 'on the waiting list' for her first driving lesson. Dgd1's first Dance Intensive weekend was a resounding success by all reports. I've only seen a photo of the group so far - the usual starburst of arms, legs and long hair!
A big clear-out of the upstairs bedroom today as the window replacement people are coming back tomorrow to re-do some of their work - one of the big windows, which was always difficult to close at the handle side, now closes there but is open at the other side! Fat lot of good that! I only noticed during the last blast of North wind. Let's hope it is soon - and permanently! - sorted.
I haven't managed to read all the posts yet but hope to pop back later. Have the best day you can all x

Morning from sunny S Lanarkshire. I’ve been reading over the last week but later on in the day so haven’t managed to post.

I’ve had a lovely time staying with Oban daughter and family. The weather was dreadful but it was so nice to have time with them all, I hadn’t seen them since our holiday at the end of May. They also are starting a two week ‘tattle howkin’ holiday today. Sometimes they go away at this time but DSiL goes back out to the oil rigs tomorrow.

I was so glad to read about the improvement in your little grandson’s condition Greyduster, I had been thinking about him.

Congratulations on your anniversary Kittylester, I hope you both have a lovely day.

I’m off to visit my optician later, I got (expensive) new lenses last week and something isn’t quite right, I think it may be the way the angle my glasses are sitting at,?that can be adjusted.
Then post school granny duties, I’m looking forward to that.

Wishing everyone a good day ???

Good morning all from sunny Harrogate
Yes, take care, Mick you don’t want COVID upsetting the applecart.
Marydoll you really have to look after yourself as well.
Today I had intended to go to a walk in chemist for flu jabs, but have decided I don’t want my 5hours in Edinburgh tomorrow to be feeling fluey. Hoping to go to the gallery of Modern Art2. The modern art one was fabulous. That was before covid!!
Taking a trip to Ripon this morning, probably when I’ve got the washing to hang out not much morning left!
Have the best day possible folks

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
After a day reclining yesterday with after effects of booster jab, I’m intending to get cracking today.
My expanding clothes airer I use outside collapsed with broken legs so have ordered another. Nice face time with sister in the south and reading the book I have set for our Bookgroup, which I’m enjoying and must time so don’t finish it too early.
The house is cold here directly facing the Irish Sea, but I’m coping with the halogen heaters so far.
Congratulations kittylester and thoughts to anyone with troubles.

A beautiful sunny Essex despite a wet early start. Garden makeover continues (lovely view of mud currently, it'll be worth it ) so no place to put washing out. Picked up new clothes horse from supermarket this morning and put it out the front. Hope the neighbours don't mind. Smalls camouflaged by a throw over the top! Not leaving the house for the rest of the day and waiting on cake to come out of the oven smile

It's a gorgeous day in West Wales. The sun is shining and there's still colour in the garden. I've had a 2 1/2 mile walk with hubby and the dog and done the ironing. As someone that's newly retired-2 weeks, that's all I intend doing today

Hello Helenlouise and welcome to the carefree joys of retirement! To start with it's like a holiday with no end in view ......
