Soop I’m sorry you’re having issues with your stoma. I had one of those lovely belts prescribed by the hospital. I wear it at work, in my case to try to avoid a hernia. I’ve found it very supportive and helps with backache too. Surprisingly I can wear it under my normal jeans without it being obvious to anyone else.
I hope you don’t have to wait too long and that you find it helpful.

Happy to be together
All good pals
and jolly good company.
WELCOME to you lovely lot.
Good afternoon dear kitcheners - I have a sausage casserole bubbling away in the slow cooker. Plenty to share around too 😊 Sending a gentle virtual hug - TOYA
Thanks for the Sausage casserole BA so kind of you to make it!
It’s good that eventually someone is listening soop and hoping things improve a bit very soon
So sorry to hear of your DS accident corner I’d be just the same and worrying about what might have happened. Keep reminding yourself he’s ok though thank goodness
It’s been a lovely warm sunny day here, we had a browse around the local food market this morning and bought local wine, cheeses, olives, bread and some cooked meats to snack on. Also some gorgeous almond type cake that’s really delicious. It was so warm when we were walking back to the apartment that we decided to get our swimsuits and head off to the beach for a dip in the sea - so lovely! After that we walked up to the castle to admire the views
We’ll done with all your Christmas shopping GG13 I’m sure to be in a panic later on!
In the meantime, thank you for your support. I may delete the image tomorrow. TOYA X
Ds’s surgery is scheduled for the second week in December now. I was hoping for sooner but they say it is fine to wait that long and it won’t cause it to get any worse. How do they know these things??
Soop I am glad you’ve got a remedy for the hernia, you must be relieved about that.
It wasn’t me with the little tyke, Grannygravy, though I do have GC who could fill the role!
Corner these things do shake your foundations a bit, don’t they? Thank goodness your ds is ok.
Yia I hope your ds soon improves, with input from others.
TOYA. Xxx
soop, brave of you to send the picture. DH has had a stoma (urostomy) for 20 years. Different problems from time to time. But in his 90th year he’s still going strong. Lots of UTIs and a few incidences of sepsis but he’s always come through them. The elasticated trousers will help you and perhaps (🤞) the hernia will go down. With your wonderful determination you will cope with whatever you have to deal with. X
Soop I do hope your hernia is sorted soon. Must be worrying with such a lack of stoma nurses. Hope the new belt helps.
Yia hope your DS responds well to the counselling.
Suedonim thinking of you and your son also.
Muse today must be the day. Are you cracking open the champagne? We’ll give you a week to settle in then we’re all coming for a house warming. 🤣
‘Evening All’
I’m back up the hill from the Chinese restaurant full of Singapore noodles. It’s about the only thing I order, apart from spring rolls. I’m officially rubbish.
The afternoon has been glorious. I took a cardigan ‘just in case’ but didn’t need it. My friend and I sat in the very warm sunshine and enjoyed a G&T then a wine. 3 hours in the sun before crossing the dual carriageway to the restaurant. Honestly the weather out here has been marvellous, especially considering it’s November!
I shall miss the sun.
But there are compensations back home in the shape of two little grandchildren. We shall see them on Saturday afternoon and for that alone, I can’t wait.
💙❤️
Goodness soop that hernia looks painful.
👋 Doodle! X posts. 😊
Crumbs soop no wonder you were concerned, let’s hope a belt does the job.
Scary corner makes you think, glad he’s ok.
SueD it’ll be at the back of your mind until it’s done💐
Plus points Yia he’s asked for and got some help, onwards.
Big days muse special Christmas for you both after all the slog.
Library today, trying to sort out my son’s electric bike and I’ve given up on indoor bowls. I wasn’t enjoying it, but will play outdoor again next year, MrJ loves it, so I’ll get an evening for me!
Cottage pie on the way. Enjoy your evening all x.
I hope Muse remembered to get her internet transferred to her new abode!

I thought I lived in a reasonably decent part of London but apparently not. A lady was reversing out of her car park space at the local large Tescos and somebody from the flats opposite had a few potshots using a gun at her car.
Thankfully her children were at school and not sitting in the rear where the glass was smashed. She is unharmed but understandably shaken.
The police did not drop everything and run- they arrived a lot later so amazingly there is no culprit but there again, the flats were not visited.
TOYA
My local tube and bus station have been closed down because early evening 3 men were stabbed outside the tube. The bus station is next door. What on earth is happening?
I know Charleygirl. It’s sadly all too common now.
Worrying times Charleygirl
Not good charley. It’s a strange old world we live in.
Oh, my goodness, Charley.
Charley that sounds like the Wild West, not London. Very scary. The police seem useless. ‘All the gear but no idea’.
I awoke in the early hours and regretted sharing that image with you lovely lot. It wasn't appropriate. Still, we can now move on.
Charleygirl Whatever is the world coming to? I was horrified to hear the report of that poor innocent lady being subjected to such a ghastly experience. The fact that the police response was "laid back" was dismaying in the extreme.
Jax I've always fancied taking up bowls. Only trouble is, now that I'm less steady on my feet, the bowl might finish up on a different green from the one I'm playing.
Urms It is cheering to hear how happy you've been during your sunshine break. Mind you, returning home to two darling grandchildren will be a bonus beyond compare.
Yia and SueD Your sons are hopefully on the road to receiving the appropriate treatment that they richly deserve.
muse are you surrounded by umpteen well-labelled boxes of stuff that you may need right away? Bet the answer's yes. Happy first days. Hugs from us lot.
You should report it and ask Gransnet to delete it Soop. It’s back to grey and gloomy here weatherwise, very windy and fallen leaves everywhere. I’m currently listening to’The Rest is History’ podcast, it’s all about Alfred the Great. I like the presenting style, lots of humour and lots of interesting facts. I’ve had porridge with raisins and a dollop of honey for brunch, it may be gloomy outside but I’m warm and well fed Have a good afternoon, all. 😊
soop, you can share anything you like with us - especially if it's a buggeration.
Afternoon kitcheners. I have a good excuse for sitting down. I've just washed the floors and couldn't possibly move til they dry. I've also gone over random spots of paint which have annoyed me for some time. The house stank of turpentine, now it smells of rhubarb floor cleaner. When it dries, I'll get into the garden and clear some of the two piles of leaves. I'm feeling maybe my motivation has returned. Keep well everyone.
You have my respect, Grandmabatty.
kitty I shall leave the image be. It's part of life's rich tapestry.
Blossoming For brunch I've enjoyed a bowl of porridge with blueberries and prunes. Deeeelicious!
