When I first heard on the news about the conversation Lady H had with Ms Fulani, I was appalled at her apparent racist, crass, questioning. Having read all the comments on G.N. so far, I’m no longer sure. Firstly, this conversation was only heard by Ms Fulani and her friend. They were very quick to contact social media and complain about Lady H and by association the royal court of course. Secondly, Ms Fulani has taken on an African name, which I admire her for, given her heritage. Also, she was dressed in full African attire, nothing wrong with that, her choice. But I can imagine Lady H being curious about Ms Fulani, who was not presenting as a black woman from Hackney and could explain her persistent questioning. I would have thought Ms Fulani would have jumped at the opportunity to reveal where her family ‘ really came from ‘ Lastly, there was this huge leap to claim that this incident ‘ proved ‘ Megan’s claims that the royal family were racist towards her and her, then, unborn child. Oh dear, I now think all is not what it seems and I am feeling sympathy for Lady H. I don’t think anyone has heard her side of the story.
