On such a wet windy day I settled down to unknot a very knotted silver necklace chain found in the hoover. I enjoyed every moment of undoing this puzzle and felt so relaxed and pleased with myself.

My therapy today was a long chatty catch up with a very good friend who phoned me.
Pity about my still-unfinished tax return which was my original plan... 😓
Hey ho!

Listening to Sounds Sacred on radio Ulster while relaxing on the bed.

Joining my 2 and 5 year old grandkids at a great soft play centre. My 5 year old granddaughter encouraged me to climb heights and slide down steep slides and crawl through tunnels. I didn’t think I still had it in me!! I even did a forward roll. 🤣

I went a lovely long walk with my dog this morning, went to the cinema late this afternoon to see I Wanna Dance with Somebody then sat with a glass of wine and watched Happy Valley this evening. Nothing much has got done around the house but I’m trying not to feel guilty!

Speaking of otters, I just recently read Ring of Bright Water by Gavin Maxwell for my book group. I was totally charmed by it.

Thank you for the tips on detangling silver chains. Running them through a straw is a genius idea. Another life mystery is how ear bud cords get all tangled up!

So gloomy out, we've made Indian Tomato Soup and will eat lunch by a roaring fire. Therapy, here, is often food based.

And we love to cook, good therapy always.

My curiosity has got the better of me - could we have a recipe please ?

My therapy today has been being looked after by DH. The lurgy which hit me before Christmas came back with a Bang on Monday and kept me in bed ever since. He is such a star!

My therapy today was going with DH to a local pub who have a January sale on lunches. I had a large sub roll (very large) filled with fried chicken, cheese and barbeque sauce, served with chips for £2.69.

My therapy today was DH going to get a chippy tea. I’ve had a worker in the house all day and had to rest from making him tea/coffee and a lunchtime sandwich. 🙄. All OK as he’s a family friend but I felt exhausted as not feeling 100%. I ate all my chippy tea though. Lovely 😋

ETA: We use vegan broth, in all soups, but I know others wouldn't.

That sounds delicious Norah Thank you.

I’ve had a different couple of workers in the house today and it made me feel stressed so….

I bought a crème egg and I dipped it in my tea to melt the outside and suck it. Heaven. 🫠

My therapy was getting to walk the dog after days in bed. Cold crisp air and icy pavements! Perfect . . .

My therapy today was a phone call from a good friend who rang to see if I was alright. I'd forgotten to attend a group I belong to. Actually thought today was Wednesday, drrr.

Having lunch with my grandson. Then going to Dunelm to buy fluffy bedding.
Today was bright and sunny.

I was working with a lady in a care home who has dyspraxia and dementia. We are exactly the same age bar a week and I do think there, but for the grace of God….. and I tell you, this lady is amazing. She is always cheerful and laughing, I don’t know how she does it actually….. God bless you, Alex 💐

Lovely day so we walked to the library (25 mins) and back.

After my foodbank shift, I tackled the understair cupboard in anticipation of a new smart meter being fitted. The work is done and I've organised the cupboard . Some stuff binned, some stuff awaits a charity shop run, far less returned than came out. A highly satisfactory morning!

Walking along Teignmouth seafront in cold bright sunshine. Very bracing!
The sea looked beautiful.

Waking up after a great sleep. A meeting I’d worried about yesterday was under my belt and I didn’t have work to go to. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. All is good with the world.

Cooked up our favourite Bibimbap. Wonderful.
