On such a wet windy day I settled down to unknot a very knotted silver necklace chain found in the hoover. I enjoyed every moment of undoing this puzzle and felt so relaxed and pleased with myself.

My therapy today was looking after my baby granddaughter. She is having a nap just now after a highly enjoyable hour of playing with her grandparents.

Pammie1 I use either a pack of dry plant based soya mince from Asda. It reminds me of a dry soya mince I used years ago that was called Beanfeast I think.
I also replace the meat with lentils and lots of veg it's something I have always done.

Lighting the wood burner at 4pm. Sitting down with cup of tea and lap top.
Read the Harry threads, poured wine at 6pm. Currently pondering tv news or re-watch Derry Girls

What a nice thread... I think this is my therapy!

Tizliz, I looked up your area on google maps and my goodness you really are quite far north. It looks beautiful there. My therapy is sometimes being an armchair google maps explorer.

Made lamb stew for Daughter2. Cleared out & lit a fire in the fireplace. Cozy

Oreo, wind your tree lights round one of the empty rolls of gift paper when you put them away. Sellotape at each end with stern warning note about what end to start at when you unwind next year.

Thread your silver chain through a straw to stop them tangling

Genius. 💡

Yesterday was a return to my lacemaking group and a nice afternoon of lacemaking and natter.
Today was returning to swimming after many months of 'couldn't be arsed', and was pleased to be able to get 30 lengths done without drowning myself.
Tomorrow is going to a funeral, so doubt that will be very therapeutic.

Finding out some news of very old friends I hadn't heard of for 40m + years via a chance post on Gransnet.
Thank you.

I went for a walk taking photos, but then it started to rain so I went home.

This afternoon therapy will be baking biscuits with GGC. I suppose we'll go look for sticks, with biscuits in pockets, fun to them.

Thank you CanadianGran 😁. I’m loving reading this too.

Going back to bed with my dog.

Ohmother Thu 12-Jan-23 13:53:55

My therapy today is being able to slide back between the sheets at 13:52 as I packed in my job pre Christmas. I have hopefully taken something to relieve my blocked sinuses and hope to sleep like a princess meanwhile 😁

It's quite chilly, not the best weather. My therapy today will be exercise carrying wood to the fireplace for the fire, part to my 'moderate exercise scheme'. I'll be making cocoa for small children to drink near said fire.

Taken out by DH quite unexpectedly for lunch. Bless him

Half an hour with the new Sarah Raven catalogue this afternoon, planning my flower purchases for the summer, I want some dark dahlias - roll on spring.
