Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside here in brackley this morning.
I will do a local early shop for a few basics before I go to on the bus to Bicester .
I then return lunch ,and watch cycling on TV.
Take Care,

Good morning all from a grey but quiet day on the Angus coast - that was some wind we had last night though! I've slept late after a disturbed night of bizarre dreams, so shan't be able to stay long and haven't read any of the 49 posts ahead of me. As Urms said yesterday, it's a popular thread! Off out to lunch soon but have only the vaguest idea of where I'm going - if I don't pop back in here tomorrow you'll know I'm still looking. Then I'm off down to DD's for a night so I can make an early start with her tomorrow to watch DGD3's netball match - something I've been trying to fit in for a while now. Anyway, lots to do before I leave so I'll just wish you all a good day, with special thoughts for the poorly and troubled x

Good morning everyone. It’s cloudy, wet and windy in this corner of Lancashire. I think winter has decided to hang around a bit longer. I managed a walk yesterday, no wildflowers in evidence but I spotted these catkins. No real plans for today, hoping to get out for a walk later. Have a good day all.

Is there anywhere where hospital parking is good?

Yes, here Wyllow at the birth place of the NHS. Now Trafford General, previously Park Hospital when officially opened by NYE Bevan in 1948. Lots of black & white photos from that time on the hospital corridor walls and I’m very proud to say - FREE PARKING for all. Always has been and plenty of space in a residential area.

Good morning Mick and all from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast.
DD here for a few days and organising me, which I like. I have a larger tv arriving this afternoon, she has taken the Xmas decs into the bowels of the house, some stuff for the charity shop (heavy suitcases I will never use) and she is sorting out the sale of her flat here, quite a few problems. At the moment she is out on a long run. Phew.
Thoughts to all with troubles and will read through later.

Urmston free parking at the Glasgow hospitals are free, but the multi storey here is full already, I can see from my window.

G.B, I can just see Gratnavel in the distance, give me a wave please! 😉
Lovely painting!

Oh Marydoll I didn't see your message til now as I foolishly forgot to lift my phone. Urms I wouldn't attempt to drive from where I live as I would have to manoeuvre my way through Glasgow's motorways with no guarantee of a parking space. The trains were very straightforward. I did end up going in the wrong direction once I left the hospital but I asked someone who sent me in the right way.

Glad you made it GB.

I got confused to about the direction on my way home.

Thats brilliant, Urms. Parking locally just adds to everyones worries "can I park in time, which park to try, etc etc - and its not free.

I don't mind paying for occasional visits like I have to make atm but for regular daily visitors its just not right.

what this particular hospital needs is a big multi-storey car park - its that simple. Its huge and serves a huge area - but when I went this week, cost me £30 in taxi there and back.
