Rather cheeky but I think Mick is away?

Annapops, I have driven past Ushaw so many times since I worked in the City over 50 years ago, and to my shame have never visited. Nannyjan, Durham is a most beautiful place and the Cathedral is magnificent.
Maw, have a wonderful weekend of celebrations.
Marydoll, I have lost confidence in driving. You’re braver than me.
Having a quiet day before blitzing the house next week pending the arrival of one of my new sofas hotly followed by the arrival of DS and DBiL for our celebrations next Saturday.
Have a good day, birthday wishes as appropriate.

Good morning everyone. Another bright cold day here in Preston. I have laundry to do and later I need to set up some new software and a new device on Mr. B’s laptop. Hoping to go for a walk later, weather permitting. Have a good weekend all.

DH couldn't find the funeral plans (morbid?) and was blaming me, so I decided to prove him wrong! This spurred me on to do the shreading.
I was right, (of course I was) he had them!!!

I'm dreading DH's huffing and puffing, as a back seat passenger, more than the driving. This is despite the fact that I am more familiar with driving that road than him. There is a TKMaxx is close to my son's!! wink

Lovely photo of your grandson and 'friend' Susan
Your grandson looks so cute. As Aldom said,it would make a great Christmas card.

Good morning from Glasgow. Patches of blue but mostly what looks like a snowy sky.

Post pneumonia jag, I feel a bit washed out and shivery. Asleep by 10.00 pm last night and woke up 10.30am. A restful day ahead until this wears off.

Magnificent snowman alongside a very happy looking H Susan That cheeky little face put a smile on mine this morning.
Enjoy your birthday bash Maw Have a lovely time with your family.

Have a good weekend all

Grandmachrissy I have to agree with you about Durham Cathedral. No finer example of Norman architecture in the country. Beautiful and awe inspiring.

Unless I really must, I refuse to have DH as a passenger Marydoll. He even feels has to tell me he would have taken a different route! I tell him he can take whatever route he fancies when he is the driver. Honestly!

Bill Bryson rates Durham cathedral as ‘the best cathedral on planet Earth’. I won’t argue with that.

Ah but Salisbury has the tallest spire, or so my Russian friends tell me.
