ALL GOOD Friends
And jolly good company.
Welcome.

Thoughts with all of you who are suffering.💐
The WI AGM was fun. We had wine and nibbles. I won a competition. I was the only one who recognised a portrait of Henry Eighth’s third wife, Jane Seymour. When I got home I watched the second part of the Paula Yates documentary; the press have a lot to answer for.
A quick visit to send love and supportive thoughts to all. My day started off well but went rapidly downhill this afternoon. Mr.B bought fresh bread from the bakery and I had some with real butter and blackberry jam for my lunch. The weather turned nasty so I didn’t get out for a walk. I decided I would change some bedding instead but my back was feeling tender and I had to give it up. So I fell asleep in the recliner instead
Tomorrow is another day ❤️
What a lovely thread. Keep well and positive all.
Our Baggs has had a nasty fall. She has injured her wrist and is in plaster. So sorry for her. So sad that we won't be meeting for lunch in Glasgow. Gentle hugs to Baggs.
Blossoming You are wise to listen to your body. Rest will be best.
I have a wee pet portrait to finish today. I can fully understand why Van Gough removed his ear. The frustration (when failing to paint the perfect image) can be maddening.
Sending love and best wishes to Baggs
Good luck with the portrait soop
As expected... The treatments knocked me for six or I'm going down earth something. I'm hoping it's the former as I am supposed to be working at the outlet in Street this weekend. I've had to cancel everything I was due to do today and have come back to bed. As my DGS used to say ...Grrrrrrr.
Oh Baggs no. I do hope things look up for you and your family soon. 💐
Oh dear Baggs! What a pain.
I’ve had the first of my four activities today. A hair cut by my lovely hairdresser. When my cleaning ladies have gone I’ll have a sandwich and go to a talk on Art History. It is a U3A meeting taking place in the next town in a strange building which is balanced on four sort of stilts!
Sometimes we just have to rest neine. The head says yes, the body shouts no. I’m the same this week. Grrrrr sums it up well. Tomorrow will be better for sure.
Oh heck baggs, hope you’re comfortable. What a pain in all sorts of ways.
Hot meal at lunch time today, chicken and cauliflower curry. Looking forward to it. Be good everyone.
Oh Baggs, it never rains but it pours. I was going to comment on how lovely you looked in the Glesga grans photo.
Sorry to hear of your injury Baggs rest is a good healer 🌸🌸🌸
Back from lunch with U3A group - very nicer except for the Dauphinois potatoes which were hard. Shan’t need to eat again!
Sorry to hear of Baggs’ painful mishap. Not being a good month for that family.
Lots of healing thoughts to Baggs.🌹
Get well soon *Blossoming.

Get well soon Baggs.
💐 for you and for minibaggs too 💐
A very early ‘Evening All’.
It’s been a drizzly day today. Chilly too. No sunshine so ... drum roll here .... I put the heating on for a bit an hour ago!
Fish cakes, loads of veggies later. All prepped. Table set.
I do like to appear on top of things 🤣
“Bull *t baffles brains” as Himself always says. 😮
How rude.
He’s about to watch Man. Utd in half an hour.
I’ve poured a glass of Merlot.
We will eat late after the football.
So sorry to hear that Baggs has had an accident and is in Plaster. (Why was it called Plaster of Paris? Must look it up as I’ve nothing more pressing to do this evening).
😂
That’s bad luck Baggs - look after yourself.
All of you in cold rainy UK won’t want to hear that it’s very pleasantly warm and sunny in Tenerife. We went out for fishy things at lunchtime, including tentacles and lots of garlic, then lazed by the pool.
We got 18/20 in the quiz but we’re beaten by a team with 19. Grrr!
There are several bottles of Cava on the side.
Oh poor Baggs and wrists are such a nuisance of an injury too. I wish you a speedy recovery.
.
Well, I’m all ready for the masses to start arriving tomorrow. After a bad night I felt exhausted when I finished off the cleaning late morning. However it is DH’s 80th birthday today, so as planned we went out to
Lovely photo NannyTopsy I love the palm trees silhouetted against the sea. And heat too during the day! Wonderful.
dustyangel many happy returns of the day to your husband on his milestone birthday. Bet you both can’t wait for the family to arrive, helping you to celebrate!
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and good wishes, everyone. Three years ago I broke my shoulder and six years ago I broke my other wrist so I'm well practised. MrB is being very helpful.
Minibaggs says her uni bereavement service sent some leaflets about coping with grief and trauma. Although grief hasn't affected her yet she knows it will as she has had to deal with the grief of another friend dying suddenly four years ago. She says she's ticking all the trauma boxes though 😔. Thank you for your thoughts.
FYI :
“The name Plaster of Paris (POP) had its origins from the fact that it was extensively mined from Montmartre in Paris district. But its use predates the industrial revolution, they have been found on the insides of pyramids”.
We can all rest easier in our beds tonight now we know this.
Oh dear Baggs not good, heal quickly.
Back home at lunchtime, I’m exhausted, we walked and walked, I’ve realised I’m not very fit, so plan to improve that.
MrJ is at bowls, I’m feet up,
Happy Birthday to Mrdusty 🎉🎂🥂
Oh no Baggs I hope you recover quickly with no lasting damage
Hope you’re feeling much better soon neine take it easy
We’re in Almeria now, an easy journey from Mojacar on the Alsa bus. We checked into our apartment which is very modern and bright and then went out for a wander. It’s been really hot, the beach was busy with local youngsters and we stopped for an ice cream in the shade. We’re too tired to go out for dinner tonight so we bought wine, cheese, hummus, salad, olives and bread from the supermarket and enjoyed it here in the apartment - perfect! Tomorrow we’ll go out exploring more
Lovely picture nannytopsy gorgeous weather, well done with the quiz 👏
