Oh dear.
Do you talk like that to everybody you don't like?
I've left because of the bullies before. Its not going to happen again.
I assume that’s a question to me?
If it is: then the answer is no! I’m far more brutal and honest.

Over Posie Parker (as was. Kelly forgot the rest of her name)
On her NZ tour.
I dont do links, but it's probably easy to find.
The person who threw it followed up with a quick speech, saying something like she wished it was blood, or next time it should be blood. I couldnt really hear clearly.
Why such vitriol and violence?
(If there is another thread about this, apologies.)

Are you seriously saying you were bullied? Can't say I ever noticed anyone bullying you. I have noticed a bullying attitude from you towards other posters, especially those you consider beneath your self-proclaimed authority and knowledge, who happen to disagree with you. Can you elucidate in what way you were bullied? I know you always like evidence, oh except when you're claiming someone has been arrested and on their way to court........

Bullying translates to, not everyone agrees with me.
Bullying translates to, how can people possibly think I’m wrong.
No, I never feel bullied on GN. I find that some people try to indulge in bullying behaviour, such as prolonged personal attacks, and in the past I've thought I've had enough of this, can't be bothered any more.
But now I think I'll just hang on and just say my piece
So if we put aside Posie Parker
What had the other woman done wrong to get attacked?
I find the bullies are those who, whilst negating anything anyone else says, on whatever topic, then complain about bullies.

If someone talks rubbish and someone else tells them its rubbish, that's not bullying.
That's tough love.
There really is a lot of soup being flung around!
Croutons anyone? 😃

Yes but may I have those without garlic please?
I like a bit of garlic, please, FannyC, the stronger the better.
It is supposed to keep vampires away.
And actually V3 is right. In school claiming that they are always right is one of the excuses bullies use for regularly attacking others.
Children don’t call it tough love though, just ‘sorting them out.’

And who decides what's rubbish or not?
I don't believe any of your putdowns to other posters come from a place of love.......tough or otherwise.
Just because someone's inflated ego assures them of their 'rightness' it doesn't necessarily hold true.
I’ve got bread sticks too.
And Parmesan.
And one of those huge phallic black pepper things.
Bon appetite!
Phallic black pepper 🍆 FC?
Did you mean this? I was put off making moussaka when I learned what it represents for some people.

It adds a little piquancy but it might stain your clothes.
Ok Let's start with a bit of history. The first sex clinic for treating transgender patients was in Berlin in the 1930s-Guess who shut it down, imprisoned and tortured anyone they considered to be deviant or sexually questionable- the Nazis! So maybe it is just coincidence they turn up at the rallies organised by Posie Parker, but she should be aware that for many people her views align with those of the Nazis and this time those people aren't going to go quietly
There are police at the New Zealand rally they eventually take her away in a police car after escorting her to it.
She obviously also has her own security team.
As for feminism. No true feminist condemns someone because they want to change gender. After all some of those they are condemning they regard as women. They just don't want to talk about them but transmen do exist.
Funnily enough, I'm having a late lunch of Parsnip and curry soup, with cheese bread. Delicious.
Took a lot of stirring to get it right.
No true feminist condemns someone because they want to change gender agreed, which is why condemnation is for all the things that are listed time and time again in these discussions. Access to biological men to safe spaces for women, unfair competition in sports, insulting and threatening rhetoric from trans activists and their supporters etc etc.

I think we can all agree that Nazis are Bad, mkay?
But it was the TRAs who caused the violence.
'No true feminist'? There are plenty of feminists (you don't get to decide who is true and who is false) who do not accept that gender exists, or who think that if it does it is a tool of the patriarchy. So-called 'gender' is just a set of norms that have been applied to sex. Sex - the immutable characteristic that people are born and die with.
People are free to take on a different range of norms if they wish. They were free to do so before 'transitioning' became fashionable. It was all the rage in the 70s and 80s. In the days when men who wore eye liner were 'sexually ambiguous', and maybe even gay! Not 'in the wrong body' and really women. And not straight men who want to have sex with women but also want to exert power over them in what used to be single sex spaces.
A cursory glance at the TRAs in the NZ crowd doesn't suggest that they have been overcome by an urge to adopt 'female gender norms', does it? I'm not sure what they are, exactly, but I don't think that fury, anger, hatred and thuggery have ever been associated with female 'gender'.
I don’t think anybody can accuse the Communist Party of being right wing.
This is worth reading for anyone who wants to understand what is happening and why it matters.

You arent saying transmen dont exist again are you. You make this point every time. I reply every time by pointing out that GC feminists talk about transmen a lot, particularly the highlighting of the detransition rate amongst transmen, and the concerns being raised that many of these girls/young women have experienced trauma or are autistic, and what that might mean in terms of their relationship to their bodies.
It's not a left/right issue, if you read some of the information coming out about the tavistock for example, it is beyond horrifying, way beyond left versus right.
I will just post a quote from Julie Bindel, who is regarded in most quarters as a "true feminist"
"5. Being subject to men's violence and intimidation neither makes us good or bad. The aggressors are ALWAYS 100% to blame. Solidarity with ALL women, including those that don't agree with or like me, in the face of male violence."
