Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but remains dry here in brackley today .
Plans for the day include a trip to Bicester on the bus , followed as usual with cycling on T^V this afternoon.
And of course later in the week my Echo heart scan at the Churchill.
Otherwise a build to next weeekend.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from North Yorkshire. We’ve had a frost overnight but a sunny start.
I’m off on the village walk this morning. Enjoy yours GreyD.
Lots of gardening yesterday and I did get the photo book done.
BlueS flowers
Shazza a very good friend of mine was the vicar at Sandsend in the 1980s. Such a pretty part of the coastline. I’m going to meet up with his daughter tomorrow on Tyneside.
Have a good day everyone.

BlueSapphire for you today 💐

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle where it is currently only 2C.
We had sun yesterday too but I decided not to exert myself in the garden. Instead, I caught up with some admin before enjoying sitting by my french windows in the sun with some reading.
This morning, I am off into town for a coffee morning and to carry out a few necessary errands then home to catch up on the laundry. I've been debating with myself about re-booking my cancelled holiday but I think I will go ahead and do so. That could be a job for the afternoon.
Fingers crossed for you grandMattie, I hope all goes as you would want.

Have the best possible day, all.

Good morning. A bit of frost and dull at the moment. Hopefully, like yesterday, the sun will arrive later.

Not a good start today . We have a leaking toilet. Luckily, clean water. DH is not golfing today so that will keep him busy.
Finally finished my big turnout in my craft room and am now ready for a day of Easter craft with 7 year old DGS. He called me yesterday to check I had all the materials.
Best wishes to you all and hope today is a good one.

Good morning from a very bright and sunny start to the day here on the east coast of Fife I’m sure I heard the geese flying above on their travels south. I’m off out shopping with my carer today it’s going to be a good day,

Sorry to hear of your vertigo Mardoll hope you have a good day today

Happy Easter everyone smile

Good morning Mick and all from the Angus coast where the sun is shining at last! Mind you, it's cold. Driving home yesterday afternoon I was behind a gritter lorry which was spreading its contents across the road - I couldn't believe it!
I had a lovely chatty time visiting my friend who is recovering from a procedure for a near-detached retina - painless, but uncomfortable in that she has had to spend the past week upright, even during the night. Anyway she's in good spirits now that that part of her recovery is over.
Today the washing is in the machine and will get a good blow on the line. I feel that I shall have to dress up like an Eskimo to get it there though 😄
I hope you get a satisfactory reply from the Warden today grandmattie - he/she sounds a bit of a Job's worth.
So sorry to hear about your neighbours karma. They're not wrong when they say old age isn't for cissies - it's quite frightening.
Best wishes for the best of days everybody x

Good morning from a sunny Essex by the sea.
DD1 and 3 girls arrived yesterday in time for dinner then I went with them to their hotel on the seafront. DH came and picked me up later.
DD2 and 2 girls will arrive here about 10'sh and we will meet up with the others and spend the day together.
Unfortunately I am not at all well, have no voice and just feel like a day in bed. I can't remember the last time I was ill and cannot believe that it has happened this weekend !!!
They all go home tomorrow so I shall dose myself up and enjoy the day
Have a lovely day everyone and I hope the sun is shining wherever you are xx

Morning from high cloud and sun, 2, in S Hants.
Granddaughter arrived in Austria about 4pm yesterday, a day late after the Dover debacle Gingster. They’ve lost a day of skiing, such a shame for her first trip.
Sowed some more seeds yesterday; voluntary phone today, washing and quiz tonight.

Oh Sar53 what a shame you are poorly, I hope your plan of medicating helps X

Grandmabatty Mon 03-Apr-23 09:03:25

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 2° and sunny. I was up at five to be at dd's house for 6.15. she had an early start in the big office today. When I arrived, no-one could hear me knocking so I stood at the door shivering for ten minutes. Not a happy grandma! We are at my house now. Dgs1 is watching trains on YouTube and dgs2 is playing with a variety of toys. We've had breakfast and second breakfast and are quite content just now. Roast chicken later. Have a good day all

Oopsadaisy1 Mon 03-Apr-23 09:05:36

Good morning from a Frosty but sunny morning, the dog always gets frisky when it’s frosty and she’s chasing her tail in the front room then runs around the garden for a bit.
Opticians for us both this morning an hour and 45 minutes each, due to a new test that MrOops has opted to pay for each of us to have, not sure what that’s all about.
Pity there aren’t any decent shops to wander around whilst we are each waiting for the other one to be seen, crossword puzzle book is in my bag along with the Kindle.
At least it’s stopped raining, our local fields are now lakes, one has a swan on it.
Have a good day everybody.

Taichinan Mon 03-Apr-23 09:07:20

Hope you can manage through the day with lots of meds sar. Keep cosy though.
So good to know they're there safely Jax - they'll soon make up for lost time and in their memories the delay will become a Great Adventure!

GrannySomerset Mon 03-Apr-23 09:08:46

Off shortly to have brunch with my Ladies Who Lunch so will catch up with everyone later. Beautiful but cold morning after a ground frost overnight but the rain seems to have gone, at least for a while. Discussions with gardener this afternoon over what to do about one rather sad bed which I think needs radical treatment and starting again. Have the best day possible everyone.

Gingster Mon 03-Apr-23 09:34:44

What’s shame Sar - these things always happen 😤. Enjoy your day, the best you can and then spend the rest of the week relaxing.

Good morning from a bright W Kent. Yesterday's party has knocked us both out but a good time was had by all, mixing up the young and the old can be interesting sometimes. DGS was rather interested in the aged adults who remembered his dad as a baby.
A clearing up day today and a quiet one I hope.
Hope something easy can be arranged with the warden gM
Karma so sorry to hear about your neighbour, there was a brief discussion here yesterday about sick and absent friends.
BlueSapphire flowers
Best wishes to all.

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
My cold is moving off, just coughing now, so hope to return to normality soon. Just hated cancelling things.

So a quiet day yesterday but washed curtains, renewed my driving license and I’m on cat feeding duty for my neighbours. One cat is very shy and the other much bolder. They are tortoiseshell twins.
Today I shall make some Easter cards from one of my drawings and sort out some clothes in the wardrobe.
Hope things go smoothly grandMattie and thoughts to any with troubles.

Auntieflo Mon 03-Apr-23 10:02:58

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. The sun is shining so brightly, but I bet it's chilly outside. Had my usual cup of tea in bed, and sat reading my IPad for too long, but hey ho, there is nothing pressing to be done.
Oh GrandMattie, you made me smile imagining you making the bed on your knees. Did you say an extra prayer while there, hoping for a good outcome with the warden of your new apartment?
Getting on my knees is not at all easy, and yet I had to do it last night, when a knitting needle rolled under the settee and disappeared.
Marydoll I hope you soon recover from your vertigo attack, so that you can have more 'adventures'.
I seem to have lost the case in which I usually keep my iPad and a notebook, with all sorts of necessary and useful notes. No doubt I put it somewhere safe while the decorators were here. So that will be my task for this morning. Going on a book hunt.

Best wishes and healing thoughts to all who are in need.
Have a good day one and all.

Kalu Mon 03-Apr-23 10:36:50

Good morning all from a sunny but chilly yet, Glasgow.

A quick trip to the bank this morning, hopefully the most recent pin No. actually works, unlike the last one they sent.
A day in the garden painting and whatever plus, a short walk to nearby woods to pick some wild garlic which grows in abundance there.
Blue how you remember your DH through your DC and GC was very touching to read. 💐

Best wishes to all for a good day.

Blossoming Mon 03-Apr-23 11:29:32

Good morning all. It’s a beautiful sunny day here, I have been outside pottering and tidying. I’m also taking the opportunity to line dry some laundry, make hay while the sun shines!

Happy Monday 🌻

Beechnut Mon 03-Apr-23 11:36:21

Good Morning everyone from from sunny Severnside.

I’ve got two loads of washing on the line. I did a tip run earlier and it was a lovely drive out too. Roads were busy though. Now I’m off out into the garden where I will probably do more than I intended.

Have a good day all and BlueSapphire 💐

Borrheid55 Mon 03-Apr-23 12:25:43

Afternoon-just- from Ashford Kent where the sun is shining and the birds are singing! Marydoll isn’t vertigo awful? I had my physio appt yday( I know- a Sunday!) . I was on and off equipment which made the world tip and turn. I even had to dribble a football along a corridor. We have now worked out that I have severe vision triggered imbalance! Have a look on YouTube at Optokinetic training. It certainly explains why a trip to the supermarket is so disorientating. I have a wheen of brain training exercises to do daily. I’m also hoping to visit my mum on Fri/Sat as a surprise. So Mary don’t mention it if you meet her in the hairdressers! It’ll be a surprise if I make the journey! DH is willing to attempt the journey but is prepared to turn back if I get too distressed with travel sickness.
Having the mobile hairdresser this afternoon and not much else planned.
Have a good day all and best wishes to fellow wobblers and sick folk!

Marydoll Mon 03-Apr-23 13:59:32

Oh Borrheid I do hope you make it. I will be thinking of you! I 😘
A better day, but I'm resting for a bit. The ^ whirly pits^ (as my children call it) have started again.
Take care. X
