Good Morning Mick and everyone from a bright Hull. It’s the start today of a mostly lovely sunny mild week hooray!

grandMattie I hope you and your lovely Grandaughter have a very happy birthday. 🎂💐

Welcome to Cherrylover 👋 hope you enjoy visiting in a morning.

Marydoll 💐 my little Grandaughter baby B was born with Talapes where both her feet were turned in. She had lots of checks and my daughter always massaged them while she fed her. She’s toddling now and you can’t see that they were ever turned in.
My daughter was also born breech bottom first and as she loves to tell people in an extended stretch. She’s always been flexible and went on to dance.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy your family friend gatherings. Thoughts to those struggling with illness and stress. 🌻🌻

Good morning all from sunny Lancashire. I’m currently sat up in bed drinking tea after another bad stomach episode. I thought I had identified the cause, but I guess there’s more than one trigger. I shall eat sparingly and drink lots today. I don’t fancy eating at all at the moment.

A very happy birthday to Grandmattie and DGD.

Have a good day everyone 🌻🌻🌻

Good morning from a dry NE at present.
Our lunch out yesterday was delicious and mostly vegetarian.
In the evening we drove to Gateshead to attend the RNS concert with Sheku Kanneh Mason, it was tremendous and it was a sell out concert. Downside to the venue is the time it takes to get out of the car park, half an hour last night.
DS is home from Oxford and will visit with GD2 this afternoon.
Happy Birthday grandMattie and to your GD.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Late today after luxuriating with a cup of tea in bed, courtesy of DDiL. She, with DS, have taken the dog for a lovely country walk where he can safely be off the lead, so breakfast will be when they are ready for it.

Happy birthday, gMattie and excitement with the new addition, Marydoll. Isn’t it great how people can share their good experiences to encourage you? Hope that Babydoll thrives on all the love around her.

Another sunny Good Morning from Co Armagh
Happy Birthday to grandMattie and your GD
Haircut yesterday was conducted accompanied by all the gossip, resulting in a very short ‘do”
Marydoll we used to show Mums how to do a very gentle massage on Talipes , they usually came right

Good morning.

It’s trying to brighten up now, and I spy some blue sky. We had non stop rain yesterday.

Happy birthday GrandMattie 🎂🎉.

Hello Cherrylover. I think you’ll find this forum a friendly one, and GN overall as helpful and supportive.

No big plans today, though if it stays dry I might venture into the garden for a spot of tidying, some things got blown about after the strong winds earlier in the week.

Thank you all for the welcome, I look forward to reading this thread in the mornings. Interesting to hear what people are up to!

Good morning Mick and everyone from a dull but dry Oxfordshire.
Happy Birthday GM so pleased that you are safely in Bristol, hoping you get the keys very soon.
Best wishes to babydoll good that they are keeping a check on her.
Cherry we will be close to you tomorrow for a few days, I can’t wait to be near the sea again, we will drop in on MrOops sister whilst we are there.
MsOops is still here but the rest of the family have returned to Bristol and Cornwall, I love it when they are here, but now I can have a rest.
MissOops had her hearing aid fitted yesterday and was able to watch Downton Abbey without subtitles for the first time, they are taking a bit of getting used to, but so far so good. Although her hands are so incredibly painful as her fingers are dislocating and now have to be popped back in again, constantly, we are waiting for appointment for her and for Nephew for second opinions on their painful conditions, let’s hope the dates arrive soon.
Anyway, the sun has just come out. Yippeeeee.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone from sunny Algarve. The forecast says it will be 5° warmer than yesterday which was a very pleasant 22°.

Happy Birthday to grandMattie and I hope your granddaughter has a wonderful day as well. 🎂💐🦩🥳 gM you deserve to be spoilt a bit and have a breather before you move on to the next stage of your life.

Congratulations to the proud Gran and all of Marydoll’s family on the safe arrival Babydoll. I’m glad she’s safely home again, I had to check to see if you’d posted before reading anything else this morning MD.

I’ve not been very well myself since Good Friday. I started off fine but about an hour after a lunch of two hot cross buns, the diarrhoea started and despite both medication and fasting as much as possible carried on whenever I’ve tried to eat this week.
I’ve had trouble with many processed wheat flour products in the past but thought I’d mostly got over it.

I think I’m improving slowly as long as I’m very, very careful with what I eat.

Welcome to Cherrylover ( lovely name). It’s true GN is a big plus in my life.

Best wishes to everyone with health problems this week. I’ve appreciated those wishes more than usual myself this last week.

Morning all

Late to the party once again.

Wi-Fi has decided not to work in our bedroom, so I have to wait till I come downstairs to catch up with GN. I then start pottering and this morning I have been up to the local shops and popped into DD’s before GN.

Will now read all your posts properly 🤣

Happy Birthday grandMattie enjoy your special day 🎂🎉🥂

Pleased baby doll is home 👶

Have a good Saturday folks 🙋‍♀️🦩😔

I was born an extended breech, apparently it was 5 days before my legs straightened out. I have never been flexible or even able to touch my toes!

A very late post from me today as the lovely weather in Suffolk meant a long dog walk, washing to be pegged out and generally messing around. Just wanted to say to Marydoll that hearing about babydoll reminded me of the birth of my younger brother ,born in 1957 and 11 years younger than me… a late hatch according to my mother at the time. He was a breech baby and had turned in feet. The treatment in those days was a metal plate across the bottom of his feet so that he was unable to move them. My mother was allowed to unscrew them for 10 minutes twice a day. As an 11 year old I was quite upset to see him but he seemed unconcerned.

As a teenager and adult he was a keen rugby player and his career was spent in the fire service,in his younger years as an active fireman. I’m sure with the advice and treatment offered nowadays I’m sure babydoll’s future will be very bright.

Awaiting son’s arrival with his chainsaw to tackle some broken tree branches from the recent high winds. Hope all are having a positive day especially GM and her action packed programme in Bristol.
