Housework

No!

I know one person who does. And some who dont complain.

Myself, I could happily never peel a spud again, or load the dishwasher.

NO NO NO do as little as possible whilst staying clean AND (reasonable) tidy
I get up at 7 make my bed, shower, wipe the bathroom quickly have breakfast, wash up, and that’s it for the morning Go out forget about the house most days

Hate housework unless it's the cooking sort.

I was never born to be a domestic goddess and detest housework. There are always so many better things to do with my time. So no definitely not for me!

Absolutely ĺoathe it as it is a never ending circle, especially onerous since I have been disabled. I do what I have to do and no more as it really wears me out and leaves me in pain. I do know people who enjoy it so you are not on your own.

I enjoy it too HeavenLeigh and always have done.

I don’t mind it when I can ‘ see where I’ve been’, to quote my Mother, but I hate the endless repetitiveness of it.

The only place where housework comes before leisure is in the dictionary. Absolutely loathe it...

If you are anywhere near Essex pop in for coffee and stay awhile. I am sure I can find something that you will enjoy.

Meh, ambivalent.
I get a bit messed up. But I have my routines which I enjoy to a degree. I like to keep on top of washing and I do have a lot more motivation with some music on and nobody around to bother me.

I enjoy having a clean and tidy house. I don't particularly enjoy getting there but it's a necessary evil

I detest housework but I do love a clean tidy house.. when I get round to it..

I just find it boring but I am driven to it because I like everything to be neat and tidy.

I love food, therefore I cook, I do not like ready meals and like food cooked from scratch.

No I find it boring and as my friend always quotes it will be there long after I've gone.

Me too. Housework is such a repetitive task, and the trouble with slaving over a hot stove for hours is that the result is eaten in minutes.

I only do it because I like things to be clean and tidy, otherwise I wouldn’t do it.
In an odd way I admire people who live in a tip as it must be liberating to not care, and save a lot of time and money!

I never seem to stop doing housework but my house is always a mess. I don’t actually dislike it but I feel I should be doing something more enjoyable like walking the dog or reading a book. I do have podcasts on while I’m pottering about.

You don’t need to live in a tip if you don’t like housework, if you can afford it you employ a cleaner.

I will add though although I enjoy cleaning and having a tidy home! I’m NOT the type of person that plumps up cushions all the time and when someone comes round whip the cup away from them when they put it down🤣. My home is lived in. But the one thing I don’t like is cooking.

I don’t live in a tip at all but you just don’t need to do all of it every day apart from the make bed, wash up sort of thing,
I cook quick stuff like stir fries, jackets, stuff that pops in the air fryer for a short time never go hungry but stay out the kitchen as much as possible why wouldn’t I so much more interesting things to do
To me it feels all so unnecessary but if you re a person who loves it good luck but not for me my daughter in law goes round polishing, something that’s already polished 😂😂😂

I was not put on this earth for housework! I would much rather be out and about, walking the dog or reading a book or watching TV. However it's a necessary evil as I don't want to live in a dirty house.
